The fact that Jamie Lee Curtis (a genuine living icon), and Dave Bautista (the protective big brother we all wish we had) are joining her in this project is incredible, yet not surprising. Against all the odds, all the prejudice, all the misogyny she has faced her entire life, it's so beautiful to see how mature, humbled and beautiful she has flourished to be. Her documentary was a beautiful piece to witness, and seeing her continuously stand for natural beauty at any age for women is incredible. Now, keep proving people wrong. Keep shining. She's a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, white female celebrity who rose to fame as a nude model, running on a beach on TV in "Baywatch" and through a widely publicized intimate tape with her husband, Tommy Lee. The misogyny she faced was typical of what many women endure, but aside from not being taken seriously after posing nude (as most women aren't) for a living and after the tape's release, what other prejudices has she encountered? I enjoy a good comeback story as much as anyone, but framing her journey as "against all the odds" feels exaggerated, considering she was already a well-known public figure well before this role.

@@chrisdalton5646 I hope so. I loved the Showgirls movie; it was criminally underrated and ahead of its time. Elizabeth's performance was trashed mercilessly, and her career took a nosedive; she distanced herself from the role. She really did a great job. At that time, the public was not ready to see her in a dramatic role; they only saw her as the girl from Saved By the Bell. This is similar to Pamela being pigeonholed as the girl from Baywatch and Playboy. I hope that someone will give Elizabeth a chance to have a role like Pamela's that will allow her to finally be taken seriously as an actress and, perhaps, give Showgirls a much-deserved second look, as well as Elizabeth finally embracing her Showgirls role.
