We had a beautiful old town hall that was pulled down in the sixties and replaced with a horrible concrete buidling.

Just came across your channel. It’s lovely to find someone local (I’m in Whitby). I haven’t been to the antique shop (formerly charity shop) yet but I know one of the owners and he’s a lovely, hardworking guy. Have you thought of getting a desk from auction?

😎 I loved the video Lydia!! I know what you mean - the town where I live in the US has torn down so many of the old buildings and it's very sad. At least where you are many of the vehicles are smaller unlike here where they are super sized. It seems for most, the bigger the better!

In Canada where ever I have lived in three provinces if a building is more than 50 yrs old they tear it down this is so sad and such a waste SUNGLASSES!!!😊

I mean who allowed it 🤷‍♀️ The only good thing is that the Scarborough people were so angry about it that I don’t think the council would ever get planning to do something like it again. There’d be too many complaints. Regulations of which weren’t in place back then. Thank you 😎🕶️
