The last walking day - From Ubud to Canggu - Day 5

Together with my friend Mash we walked 60KM from North to South Bali. It is safe to say this was one big EPIC ADVENTURE. During this walk we faced many challenges. We had to face Bali's central mountains which include several peaks over 2,000 metres in elevation, the high rainfall in the northern parts of the island and the insane heat and cold weather.
Many people told me I was crazy and that it would be an impossible thing to do. But I still packed my bags, found someone crazy enough to join me and traveled to the north side of Bali. Because

Silang Jana = 1.903m Volcanoes in Indonesia are included in the biological mother of Indonesia. If the total number of volcanoes in Indonesia is more than 570 with different characteristics (on land + in the underwater sea). I hope you have a pleasant trip and have an extraordinary experience while in Indonesia because too many strange places. Visit one of the volcanoes in Indonesia at least 1or 2 times, because it is different in all conditions or routes and you can also see other volcanoes than the one you are currently climbing. As well as having different histories regarding of eruptions that have occurred. Good video and stay healthy.

Potverdrie zeg!!! Toevallig vond deze Indische Maastrichtenaar jouw/jullie verslagen van de km. lange wandelingen , GEWELDIG! Voor mij veel herkenbaar en daarom leuk om het te zien , dank hiervoor ! Had het ook willen doen maar helaas had mijn leven een andere bestemming.... In 2018 ben ik nog in Irian Jaya ( West Papoea) geweest waar ik ook gewoond heb. Wanneer je de mogelijkheid hebt , ga daar eens naar toe en leer de vriendelijke Papoea kennen. Hoop nog genoeg van jullie te vernemen. Een warme groet!

Ik kan aan je accent horen dat je Nederlandse bent (je hebt het trouwens ook een paar keer gezegd in deze vlog, Belanda). Leuke vlog, ik woon al jaren in Surabaya en het word echt tijd dat je Surabaya bezoekt, erg mooie en fijne stad met lekker eten (rawon satan, Rujak cingur en/of soto lamongan om er maar een paar te noemen), mooie historie en leuke mensen. OMG- I can’t believe I didn’t watch this vlog already. Last winter I was ‘marathon’ watching your vlogs. I love following one person and catching up on what they produced. It’s like watching a TV series of your life. I hope you don’t think that’s weird. I’m in COLD Alaska where I have nothing better to do because I’m on season leave from my job. I start work in March and work until October/November. I work out in the morning and early afternoon but my evening are boring. I don’t watch TV but I do watch vlogs on my phone. I get unlimited data on my phone plan and don’t want to get cable because it cost $175 USD a month. Cable is really expensive here because they have a monopoly on it. Only one carrier where I live.

Now do not forget girls, our ancestors used to march 50 km per day every day around the globe, and with full packs of armor. And no roads, just rough terrain.
