I never appreciated the astounding talent on the Lawrence Welk Show when I was a kid. Now, I'm blown away each week. So many multi-talented artists! I would be so thrilled to have a behind the scenes special as to what goes on between numbers! Getting everybody dressed and in place. Nobody making visible mistakes. Week after week!

I remember watching "The Lawrence Welk Show" in the 1970s when I was in school. We lived in Minnesota and it was on Saturday nights. Of course, my favorite singer was Tom Netherton. He was so handsome back then. I had a huge crush on him. I met him once in Minnesota and he signed my LP record where he sang a lot of Gospel songs. He's 6'7" tall. He was still single then. He did get married long after Lawrence Welk died. I know because I saw his wedding picture with his bride. Thank you for posting this show. 🙂

Very happy to have discovered your channel. My first watching of this show now. I look forward to more coming aboard. I have been following and listing to these shows for the last 3 years. I wil never lose interest in what must of been one of the greatest entertainers if not the best presenter of some of the most musical entertainment of his era. Being an ex dance band man of the 1950S (I am years 87 years old) you can understand why I can never forget this brand of music. .....GREAT STUFF............... You will be hearing from me from time to time.............

Semonski Sisters do a great job on the Lawrence Welk Show, I just wish that Diane would stay on with the Semonski Sisters, because I love them so much, and appreciate them so much.

Shane Spangler thank you for your kind words. Been watching the show for just over 20 years now and recorded a lot of eps on VHS . I’ll be uploading more over the next few weeks . I also had to get rid of a lot of eps recently because the quality was really poor.
