So are we placing bets on what you are bringing this year. While Betty or the Subaru would be fun, the Perodua is the obvious choice (although seeing if Bella is more healthy than last time could be interesting) . Can't wait to find out.

Same system applies for the rear side doors and used to apply to the suicide front doors up to 1964. Saves on hinges. It’s called „charnières yoder“ after the inventor. The H van had the same. That’s why it’s all straight lines where the openings are hinged.

Had two 2cv, one Dyane, one Ami 6 (wtf) and one GS Pallas semi auto transmission, I’m over it all now (2cv excepted)

I was watching 2.5litre motorcycles going up Elvington on a Straightliners event. KZbin had this as a suggestion straight after. KZbin algorithms at their finest 👍👍👍👍 Damned good stuff both of you. @hubnut is a great sport

Which engine was this? The one with Burton big CC kit? Maybe the rev reading didn't work because it is a 'wasted spark' ignition setup? 2x the sparks on each cilinder. Just an idea.

I had a red 2CV6 from new, registration C300PRC. We called it "Percy" because of the reg. I had enormous fun in that car, some of my fondest motoring memories. We once drive in convoy with my father in law in his Vauxhall. He said "You go in front, so I don't lose you." When we got to the services on the M5 he said, "I'm impressed. I think I'll go in front from here." Once it was wound up to speed, it could go at quite a lick. We also took it over Hardknott Pass in the Lake District. That was alarming. Got blocked in a car park once, and because all the weight is at the front, I was able to hutch the back end round by lifting it by the rear bumper. All the seats came out for picnic purposes and I once removed all the seats except the driver's and carried a tandem bicycle inside it with the boot closed and my wife sitting in the back on a bean bag. I never knew the bonnet slid off like that, though. Wonderful car.

That's what I was thinking, it's effectivly sparking twice as many times, so possibly the dyno cannot relate that to the rpm, or something like that, only guessing though, 30 is good though.

Power alone doesn't mean much. Power to rate ratio does more. First thing you learn when you want to have fun. You wouldn't know. 250 bhp might impress you... what good does it do if the wanking chariot weighs more than the QE2?!
