Fighting the old dragoons is my favorite part of the game. The discussions and reminiscing between old comrades, followed by the fading of the room into its ruin after the fight revealing how much time has passed still gets me. It's especially intriguing to see just how much Rose cared for her old team, a fantastic character moment for her. You're doing great as always MrMiles, thanks for the video.

It was definitely cool seeing how the old dragoons were similar and different from the current ones. The mermaid girl is really neat and sad. And Kanzaz being a kind of psychotic murderer is really interesting.

I think 🤔 the door before the entrance tells you who the next Dragoon is maybe. You got this you are a warrior.

Can't wait to see your reactions to the lore the last two old dragoons give and honestly the best way to deal with Faust is to play through Mayfil until after the boss but before the point of no return and then turn back to go face Faust also remember that you have to return to Rouge to drop off the stardust to get the vanishing stone in order to even face Faust.

You can fight Faust as long as you don't go past the point of no return, but you will need all the stardust. Some people believe Faust is harder than the endgame boss, and I agree. XD I'm really looking forward to Mayfil and endgame, I just hope no one spoils the story for you. x_x

You can't do Faust until you bring the 50 stardust to Martel.

In my last playthrough, i was widly overpowered and these boss fights were still sooooo difficult. Honestly putting Kongol in would have been a bad idea. His MG defense is horrible and would have been doubled with Syuveil. Amazing job though! Optimal play is for chumps!

This is tough. So if you plan on fighting Faust there's a ton of grinding necessary. You want maxed out final additions and at least two legend casques. The problem is if you're equipped to fight Faust the end game will get steamrollered. So the question becomes do you want to do 4 to 6 hours of hard grinding to beat Faust then the rest of the game is a cake walk, or would you rather push on and beat the game as you are then circle back to an old save for Faust? It's up to you but I honestly recommend saving Faust for after the final boss. He's meant to be the ultimate challenge so I figure he's best last. Good episode as always ☺️👍

you really don't need all that much grinding or casques just good ol fashion strategy

So I have a mishap in the next episode.. well as a result of the next episode. I didn’t realize that once you finish the game you don’t return to just before the final battle like most games. So I don’t have a separate save just before the point of no return. My 2nd save is all the way back in Aglis which is fine I’ll just finish the dust again and grind out some levels

I actually think Bringing Kongol into the Syuveil fight would have been a terrible idea, lol. Think about it, While yes, Kongol would do double Damage with his Magic attacks, Kongol's Magic Attack sucks, so it would likely not do as much as something Meru could throw out, added on the fact that Kongol's Magic Defense also sucks, and Syuveil would do Double Damage to Kongol, making Kongol a liability more than anything.

kongol is bad from the moment we get him and even his dragoon form even if u get it ealry on in lohan the point we get him the bosses tend to start doing magic attack and his biggest fault is his speed and magic defense sadly kongol is a character i rarely use for this game

Go through mayfil up until the game explicitly tells you that there is no return if you continue, you are going into the final stretch. At this point is where you turn back and fight faust. Honestly Faust is harder than the final boss of the game. the final boss is just a long, LONG battle of attrition. its not a particularly hard fight but you can get punished if you act stupid. Also, when you get to mayfil, your are going to have to fight some bosses. There is one boss in particular that you dont want to attack, at least not until they "turn their back" on you. then attack until they turn back. There is a reason why I tell you this. and I dont want to spoil it for you. But you will figure it out when you get there. DO NOT ATTACK UNTIL THEY TURN THEIR BACK TO YOU. but after you beat Faust, and then go to the final destination in the game, you will have pretty much completely beaten the game. there is no reason to keep playing or doing anything unless you want to just screw around in your save before you go to the final destination. Like hunting down creatures like 00Parts and rainbow birds to get tons of XP and gold to overlevel or by full ultimate wargod stuff for your team.

Bruh. How are you *still* not using your power up/down, *especially* before big attacks like the psycho bomb??? Why are you even carrying them around at this point? 😑Smh. This was painful to watch.
