now from what ive read the origional concept is that she just stabs herself and a drop of blood opens the portal....but it still looks so sus drom the drop,to the very akward position of her body and the way the camera focuses...to the gate coming out from between her legs........all i see is "Death by snatch"

The programmers conceptualized so many details to this. Prolly 1 guy designed this special attack and somehow it got in. Look at the level of detail on the drops, that programmer intentially put 3 globs, 1 large and then 2 small afterward. So much attention to detail! haha
