I wish you guys did variety posts like this more often. Doing some hunts in older games during the down time between releases rather than solely focusing on the newest games when you've already done all the content in it. Heck, I'd really like to see Frontier again. Still lots of stuff in that game to experience.

there are some really nasty 140 quests. shagaru, apex deviljho, apex rajang, apex zinogre, and s zinogre come to mind. i personally hated shaggy because the geysers were just ridiculous; spawned everywhere and did a lot of damage. dunno how you people solo these things, i can't

@@soxandbears I managed to beat Blue Kut Ku, Basarios, Chameleos, Shagaru, and Chaotic Gore as well. From this Bunch, Shagaru was definitly the hardest. Chaotic was much easier. Shagaru actually can decide to spawn them in intervals under you. So dont heal carelessly, if you notice some Patterns. The taktic on Shagaru is usually to attack the small frontlegs for trips. Still carted twice. And yeah, the Zinogre are absolute Nightmares, I wouldnt touch them whitout range Weapons. Deviljho, all Versions get easy after you realized he cant realy do much if you stand besides his left leg. (Only the right one stomps)

YES! they're back with more 4 Ultimate! 1:16 that looked and felt dirty - aided by the armour set Josh's wearing (still can't get over the fact that Dalamadur's female armour is sexy - same with Kulve Taroth's Master Rank/Arch Tempered set, and all Anjanath sets). 2:08-2:12 the black segments are the actual grip points of the hilt. GS, LS and Charge Blade have them, too (and i'm implicitly implying that His Immenseness is a LS user - but you already knew that). 3:27 YEP! there it is! 4:32-4:35 aaand he just entered "Super Masturbation Mode"... fun time! :D i used to watch SOHellKite's MH4U roulette wheel - hence the nickname for Rampage Mode (i only experienced Apex Seregios in Story Mode). 7:28-7:30 now you notice? he's been knocked out of his Apex state 10 seconds already. 9:10 you just HAD to open your mouth, Josh. 16:21 as proven before he could even finish the sentence. off topic, but i feel like sharing my armour/weapon combos: Garuga X and Vengeful Knife; Star Knight set and Sword; Ceanataur X or Guild Cross and Indigo Ogre Sword/DragonSealer "Null"; Alloy XR and Daora's Maelstrom; Fatalis Beta set and True Fatalis Sword.

"There is no greater foe in 4 Ultimate than an Apex Rajang" I dare you saying that again after clearing a lvl 140 Apex *Zinogre* Guild Quest. (make it a double xD ) Even a single lvl 140 Zino tripple carts a full HR999 party of randoms, that did double 140 Rajang before no problem, in less than 5 minutes half of the time. After 3000+ hours playing this game and many other titles (not Frontier though) I can say this is genuinely the most dangerous monster I have come across so far.

I started in 4u, and I remember I branded this guy as my most hated monster of all time then. Followed only by gypceros. I remember I only beat the 140 GQ once, and I could never do it again, they were too powerful.

This guy took me five days to beat, felt like fighting actual Goku. May the stars have mercy on both your souls. As for the twosome fight that was like fighting Goku and Vegeta and i might have well slapped both Chi-chi and Bulma in front of them, that fight took two months.

2:33 "hello there." 4:32 "what separates the strong from the weak is the ability to take the beating. hell, to love the beating." man, that Infamous quote fits this so well lol the funny part about Josh drinking the wrong item is the fact that he's not doing his no UI bit. see, even with UI he'll use hte wrong thing so there's no reason to have it off. lol not only is he re apexed, he was also enraged on top of that. i love how they admitted that the only reason they made rajang eat kirin horns was they wanted a lore justification for why 2nd fleet hunters would capture rajangs and feed them massive amounts of kirin horns to train them and make them fight. yeah there was a monster fight club thing in MH2 and rajang was indisputably the strongest capturable monster for it. i loved the 20th anniversary interviews, so many insightful and funny peeks behind the curtain. like how when they first teased narga, the only reason he was hidden at all was because his model wasn't finished. they went even further saying his hunt was never play tested before release too.

Apex Rajang... I would say that this is an amazing fight and a very hard one at that, but... Man, he's just boring- the fact that the player base itself for 4U force-feeding every player to do the Lv140 2xRajang Guild Quest just for the best odds at more pulls on the relic weapons made this fight just outright boring to me after the 200th Rajang hunted! It's is all you end up seeing in end-game for 4U! Sometimes Jho and Teostra as well, but, the rest is just this god damn Monkey! I didn't even knew Apex Tidal Najarala existed until much, MUCH later in my time in 4U's G-Rank. That said... No, I don't miss this fight. Not a single bit. I already got enough memories of it for a lifetime, so, for all I care: The 4U player base can drown in Monke for all they have left of life in the official servers.
