There's a meteor that crashes into Earth, and the person's perspective is that he wakes up seeing an alien reconstitute his body from the ashes of a destroyed earth, and basically have a conversation about "downloading his consciousness" into their library to live forever, etc. So yeah... there's a whole universe of possibilities of living forever, lol.

So im certain I entered an alternate dimension in 2016. I had a seizure while driving and crashed into a wall, becoming paraplegic. Then I had V Tach and almost died. That was terrifying. The first Life Is Strange was definitely a "lightning in a bottle" situation. They just happened to have to have the right combination of elements to make it an fun, charming, enjoyably cringe teen drama with superpowers. Every LiS game past the first feels like they tried to recapture the charm by using the same formula, and when they try something slightly different, like Tell Me Why, it's poorly written and falls flat.
