Waymo is actually very good. I'd much rather ride in one than an Uber. The one that hit the telephone pole was not at fault. Something got in front of it and it could not avoid a collision. The update is about helping it identify lower damage alternatives. This is why it's important to read the article, not just the headline. Cruise and Tesla FSD remain dangerous.

38:40 we've got an empty lot next to our house that we are maintaining for biodiversity. I hand pick noxious weeds and leave the rest to go wild. It's got multiple grasses, wildflowers, dandelions, etc. Bylaw got involved at one point because of the length but thankfully the dude is a libertarian and said as long as we maintain it he doesn't care about the length requirement. We plan on fencing it and turning a good chunk of it into a garden some day. But we'll do our best to preserve what we can.

@34 those ramen noodles aren't too spicy once you get used to them, but it's better if you work up to it. I've had to cool them off before I ate them or the actual heat plus the spicy heat together proved a bit too much. The flavor is actually some of the best I've had compared to any other kind of ramen noodle. For the connoisseurs, add sesame oil and peanut butter to any ramen noodles and it's delicious. Of course you can add some hot sauce as well, but I find soy sauce too salty to add.

30:55 the answer regarding the ice cream vendor is, usually companies make the formula for making the ice cream which is shipped in carton milk like boxes. Afterwards, water(or milk) is added much closer to the actual final point of sale.

One simple question I found which confuses AI is "Can water freeze above 0C ?". They always ends up talking about supercooling and other non water related phenomena which have nothing to do with the question.

41:00 Elephants get culled too, when their population gets too large, they trample vegetation that other animals rely on, this wouldn't normally be a problem, but with their habitats being so restricted it is now. Whether or not to cull them is a contentious issue, but it does happen.

8:45 I CHEAT is to allow the model to generate a naked human, THEN apply clothing to said human. Instead what their trying to do here is generate a entirely clothed human in a specific position. This sort of method of building a realistic human on a beach is prone to failure, even painters and drawers often will do the base human form before apply everything else on. This is what happens when you get computer programmers to do art....

As a computer programmer I agree with that. This entire diffusion model is bullshit, no real artist starts with a random canvas of noise like a TV out of tune and randomly modify each block of the image until it matches a part of a text in the "prompt", and then try to make each block interfere with each other as to bricolage a lot of parts of images that it has on its database. I wish people knew how that thing works. Its sad that real artists are being fired because of this bullshit, people are going to regret it later when they realize SD (stable diffusion) is just photoshoping a lot of parts of the images you can find on the internet then smudging it together and calling it "art". Its basically a stochastic way of randomly statistically doing what you could do by automating photoshop, its just that.

Only the US Constitution can set requirements for members of the House and Senate.this is why members of Congress cannot be subject to state recall elections,too. They can set age limits for their state legislators depending upon verbiage in state constitutions.

"Don't talk to cops" isn't an opinion, it's legal advice that any lawyer would give you and the way our legal system works probably should be taught in school. If the second finds something it think is against the rules it will mess things up. This is what happen here, but even if the "nudity" is a gymnast with bare arms or something like that. Nope the rat story was real. That came out a while ago. AND a small experiment used a single rat brain cell in a small robot which mapped out a maze by finding the walls. The brain cell only lives for so long so they have to keep doing it, but the cell would stabilize and control the bot to find the maze walls.

They can be 6 months along and have no clue because their bellies will be almost exactly the same as it was 6 months prior. When it gets to the final trimester they show a belly but it still significantly smaller than what is considered normal. Typically its still fine for both kiddo and mom. Look up cryptic pregnancies and you'll see pics of woman 8 or 9 months along and they look their 5 or less.
