Every time I watch one of these crafting leve videos, I always leave with a new tip to help level my crafters. So thanks for these lol. I tend to gather and sell in quantities that are required for the average craft. Like 5 dark hemp since that’s the amnt for one roll of fabric. You can tend to up charge a bit and it’s not a huge inventory so you can turn over your inventory slots pretty quickly. I tend to over gather but craft just enough.

The second set of scrips (Orange) ARE actually available through Custom Delivery NPCs! But you have to be doing it on a Level 100 job. You trade leveling EXP for endgame scrips.

​@Lulink013 from what I've been told (based on what happened last expansion), the current set is mainly used to make the HQ version of the normal 100 gear easier to craft, and that is the "best" gear right now because of overmelding until the master craft gear is available

I work as a dancer on a cuise ship, Whenever I was in port after 1-2 weeks I would find a starbucks, Download anything I needed and accept Large scale crafting leves just to burn through the allowences :D Was very handy!

The Cornservant comes from a random yellow quest line that begins in tuliyollal and takes you through each zone, one quest per zone, before finally giving you The Cornservant at the end. theres no achievement tied to it, but who cares. CORNSERVANT!

They really should have an achievement for completing the large-scale levequests. They already required finishing some of them for the crafters, and with this new increased requirements in Dawntrail they're clearly counting them in the total, so they might as well reward us for doing all of them.

The first days of a expansion are really the most bizarre when it comes to the marketplace game, if you are creative you can make a lot of money. I personally made 15-20 Million by purely selling NPC accessories for Viper and Pictomancer. I feel a bit dirty now, but I couldn't resist..

I too love taking over the new item market on the MB with each expansion! II made a good chunk of gil without doing a dang thing but doing the MSQ and then reselling the Air Wheeler mount from Solution Nine. I sold 2 to streamers a few hours after launch, one of them paid me 50M for it too even though I told them it cost me 7.5M to buy it. They said it was my "tip" because they wanted to put out the first video about it. I sold so many more of them for 15-20M for the first day and then throughout day 2-3 continued to resell them for 10M+ on the market board. To pay my respects to all the gil people made me, I gave 4 of them away on July 4th to the first 4 players who found me and set off a firework for me. I was sitting right next to the aetherite in Mor Dhona and people were flying all over trying to find me.

Trust me, I can feel the pain. I had to wait 166 days to get the 1000 levequests for the PS4 trophy An Adventurer's Duty. :( Also, congrats on getting your own house and getting 3000 FATEs... which is something I have not even broken 1000 on. ;_;

If you want the expensive Bicolor Gem items you'll be doing a shitload of FATEs anyway. There's also FATE requirements for ARR and Heavensward relics, as well as random stuff like the Yo-kai event. And Bozja but I'm not sure if those count. Point is there's plenty of stuff to grind FATEs for and that makes it feel like less of a waste of time cause you're working towards multiple goals at once.

Hey Cider! I just got all my crafty and land jobs up to 100 yesterday. That was on hell of a grind! I'm still 5 large leves per class away, but I got the new single leves done in the process of leveling! Multi-tasking is a beautiful thing. My advice to everyone is to level you miner and botanist first, then do crafters with the gathered materials.

As for my favorite thing, there is an absolutely beautiful zone I spent a lot of time gathering in. Made my botanist leveling quite enjoyable.

Progress report. Lalachievements score: 16,870. New expac, new achievements. For spoiler sensitivity, I'll be culling achievement names here, so have no fear. I picked up 5 of 6 MSQ progress achievements, the Mapping the Realm and Freebird achievements for 5 of 6 new field zones, and the Mapping the Realm achievements for 5 of 8 new dungeons. In the process, I picked up Through the Gate X and Stick Them with the Pointy End X, as well as the role quest achievements for tank, caster, and healer. Aside from this, I picked up I Am the Alpha I Am the Omega III while doing Khloe book for Picto XP, and got enough poetics from doing roulettes a bit more actively to grab Well-oiled: Amazing Manderville Milpreves, Samurai Blade (I *hate* that they won't just localize these as "katana"), Torquetum, and Axe.

I did a handful of large scale leves thankfully, but gosh. It's insane how they manage to make the grind somehow worse, as leves feel like a dying system. No other grinds are that insane of a timesink and are not allowed to put in time to chip away at it more, and the rewards are not that good either outside of maybe 2-3 per expansion!!!! So many things could be done to make it feel like you are getting somewhere, like Large Leves counting for 10 completed leves, GC overlapping with Battle Leves, and address some issues with the pacing of them like the 5 minute ones, and the whole Evaluation one making no sense on what that means. Everything in this game feels reasonable with getting to push for some achievements, but this!!!

At some point it will be impossible for new players to finish leve quests just from the amount. I think the best way to fix it for the future is to make it possible to finish leve quests from old expansions even if you have 0 allowances left, but reduce the rewards to a minimum to make it not worth it without using allowances.

Since you are still doing the spiritbonding stuff, you should also be very happy! Spiritbonding for crafter and gatherer now is based on lvl, not ilvl, so a level 100 set is a level 100 set, instead of being like ilvl 696 needing to do 100 three star for decent spiritbonding. So should get more materia and more spiritbonding!

That indicates they have a Specialist accreditation, you can have 3 of those at a time.

He has Crafter soulstones for those jobs. They give you a few extra stat points, allow you to craft specialist recipes, and give you access to a couple of extra abilities. You can only have a max of 3, your first one is given for free (I believe the quest starts at the airship landing in Ishgard) the other 2 you bought with White crafting scrips from the vender in idylshire, Gonna assume that's been changed to purple now though. You can swap your chosen 'specialist' job but it does have a week? (I think, may be longer) long Cooldown.

Just finished the MSQ today, I know a lot of people have been critical of it after Endwalker set the stakes bar so high, but I honestly thought it was perfectly fine, and the ending gives a ton of options for what the devs could have us do going forward that I really like

It's not even about the stakes, dawntrail's stakes are arguably at the same world ending crisis that endwalker was. The story overall is just filled with weird unexplained details and plot holes/conveniences that don't make a whole lot of sense and it's made worse with how overwhelmingly Wuk Lamat overshadows everything and everyone. Even the brief time you don't spend with her the story manages to make it about her I enjoyed it but it's definitely down there with stormblood, only difference for me is that I actively skipped some cutscenes in stormblood due to how boring some parts were

He actually has not unlocked Dragoon, he's leveled lancer to 90 without unlocking the job.

Youre right about crafting 😂 if a craft is going to make you 500k-1mil, 30k for a mat is peanuts in the grand scheme of things but its still very expensive for a single mat.
