This project started back in 2020 and I'm so glad I finally get to share it! There really is something special about the life of an artist and through them, a painting. Support Kendall and buy her work at the top link in the description!

When you painted over that gorgeous painting, I actually gasped 😢

I was surprised when she told me she was painting over it, but it’s all part of the process to get to that amazing final piece!

Every artist struggles like she did. Her work speaks volumes and will live long past her! Well done!

Not every artist struggles like she did. Quit speaking that on us. Minnesota, Wisconsin, and New York are depressing places. Everyone struggles in life, regardless. If you want to be an artist, live in a balmy climate.

We are artists. Whether we ever make it our full-time job or not. We will create regardless because it's who we are.

14:02 I just wanna say, throughout this video I kept thinking to myself this is a special young lady. I’m interested in art and watch a lot of art vids and what struck me with this video is how this artist speaks genuinely and calmly about her at. Almost in a matter-of-fact way, no pretense but with passion. You will make it, you need to produce more and find more avenues to showcase your work. You’re being very brave (and I don’t use that term lightly) and noble with what you do. You’re already a great human with what seems to be a lovely life. I will say, perhaps you need to make some pieces that are the kind which can immediately draw people in- think, something that even non-artistically inclined people will find interesting, it’ll be like a catalyst forward. You are young, you have time

Nice documentary. Beautiful artworks and artist space. There will be doubts but flow with the artistic process. You are blessed with this boom. Hope to see more short films in your journey 🪄🎨✨

Take up meditation and Mindfulness. Learn about Manifestation and your life will completely change. You are worthy of this.

What do you suggest as beginners material for manifestation?

A very brave woman. I share her struggles as well as many other artists around the world. But she didn’t give up. She said “when you stop painting you’re not a painter anymore”, that hurted ❤️🩹

The best way to kill your creativity is to compare yourself to those you find on social media.
@johnschoolmeesters2 ай бұрын
I think finding a balanced relationship with social media as an artist is one of the hardest thing for modern artists to do. Its a great tool for attracting more eyes on your art, but at the same time can take away a lot of the joy found in creating. I think finding that balance is key!

Nice film. But maybe you could have shown her entire body of work more. This way it looks like all she did in a few months was that one painting.
@johnschoolmeesters2 ай бұрын
She definitely worked on more than just this, but the idea was to follow her journey as an artist through this one painting. It would be a cool video to look at more of her work though!

@@johnschoolmeesters I thought she must. Yes, that would be very cool to see. 🙂
