animal testing isn't needed. Animals are different than humans, many tests are redundant and/or done elsewhere by other people, plus it can be cruel as hell, etc. Vedic science offers many answers anyway, and many diseases can be prevented anyway, in ways both Vedic and modern science know of. i feel bad for people who don't seem to know or care about good vs. bad karma. but they'll learn the easy way or hard way. i bet 1 day, these testers n their supporters will be in cages n tested on, or worse. time to head out before some youtube comment war drains my time. peace

They are more deserving to live free out there for a week until a cat or an owl eats them than most of our criminals, rapists, killers, life imprisonments seriously charged people and repeated crime culprits. I work extensively with animals for medical research in heart disease - as much as it pains me to do it, knowing how many lives we could be saving really serves a great purpose. We also have a very strict ethics committee here in Australia, even very minor surgeries, I would be here till late at night injecting temgesics to make sure they are not in pain and are well taken care of, put them under heat lamps, have them in my hands and feed them crushed up food with hydrogels to make sure they are feeling comfortable as much as possible.. i hope one day we can find an alternative, which my lab group is also looking at doing with biomedical engineering and 3D bioprinting cells! Hopefully animal work will come to an end. But huge love and respect for the animals involved and scientists that work tirelessly emotionally and physically with this type of work. 💖💖

We are talking about millions of animals being tortured and then killed for mostly inconclusive studies. Even the positive studies don't mean much as we are so different, food that is healthy for us can kill your dog, imagine how much we have in common with rats. How many animals would you kill to save 1 single human? One? Ten? Hundreds? Thousands? Would you chose to kill all living animals to save one human?
@kjjlskdjfljf4 жыл бұрын
@@SachaBernasconi that's incorrect. Every studies teach us something, even if it may not answer the critical questions. And every teaching will help human kind forever. Literally drugs and procedures that are developed through the sacrifices of animals can be used to help humans until the earth literally dies away. For example, a hiv vaccine developing in my school has used a couple of hundred monkeys, and the results have taught me so much and given us the confidence to move it into human clinical trial in the next year. In 2018, there was around 2 million NEW cases of hiv infection around the world. A HIV vaccine can help to save the lives of ~2 million people PER YEAR. And this can be apply to other major health issues like flu vaccines or treatments to cancer and genetic illnesses (where people didn't choose to be sick). And all of these lessons / treatments would stay with us for decades and decades and decades, saving the lives of billions if not trillions of human being.
@SachaBernasconi4 жыл бұрын
@@kjjlskdjfljf that is incorrect and you are clearly not aware of the bigger picture of how many animals get tortured and killed for inconclusive studies. Also isn't it ironic you talk about HIV that as plenty of other diseases resulted from messing with animals in the first place?

theTAILlor The rat will definitely die. Actually rats do not grow their tails back. Once the skin is removed from a rat it dries off and the tail falls off. If the affected part is really tiny then there won’t be an issue. If they took the whole tail’s skin as they did here then the rat will actually die afterwards. If I word it this way it does not sound as ethical after all, does it? Plus animals don’t actually have a way of consenting to these experiments. They should shut down all animal testing programs and start testing them on humans from the beginning. There are so many prisoner scum bags out there that are after all taken care of with your your own tax money. At least this way they will do humanity some good and not be such a waste of space and tax payer’s money.

Animal testing is vital, but animals like monkeys for example are so similar to humans and they need stimulation, more space and some way to keep them entertained.

One thing I didn't like is when the dr said that's the right answer. That means they will use these people. And expect to get the results they desire. And if the lab rats want more work I bet they better have a good record of being co operative.
