I honestly quite liked Baatar Jr. I mean, aside from the cruelness and boasting, he’s quite a decent person. He cared for his family (deep down) and just wanted to get out of his dad’s shadow. Also, he’s clearly tough and smart (Easily kicking arse in his Mecha-Suit and generally being a genius engineer), so he’s got my respect for that too *Also Baatar’s face in the thumbnail is SUCH A MEME*

Bataar Jr has some of my respect. He can actually fight even though he needs his tech, he's a genius with so much potential that he could have stepped out of his father's shadow and make a name for himself without leaving, and he denied a woman a second chance because being shot at with a giant cannon powerful enough to level buildings ain't something you can just get over. Besides the thumbnail and the jokes that comes with it, Bataar Jr deserves a bit more respect and a woman that won't betray him for power.

True, very true. I get that Kuvira didn't want to have their relationship get in the way of their plans and all, but still, yeah that situation would certainly leave a scar. I also think this says a lot though, that Kuvira had said that she have expected him to do the same, shows that even she would've been willing to die if only to have their dream succeed... which is a helluva devotion.

If you ask me Baatar jr is the 5th best non bending character in avatar I mean he was clearly a genius but he was also one of the few characters that doesn’t fear the avatar that’s pretty bad ass I like him if you ask me he should have been the combination of all non benders I’m talking smart uses hook swords and is a chi blocker like that guy in the comics it would have made him a lot more interesting and he would be able to fight which could explain his bravery a bit more

So Baatar jr was in a relationship with and was engaged to his informal adopted sister kuvira? So if they were canon in the show I see no reason why a couple like Leo and Karai can’t happen (which it did) in Tmnt 2012. Because they were also informal adopted siblings and of Aisan descent and family. Also unlike Baatar and Kuvira they weren’t even raised together in the family and eveb after the reveal Karai never even decided to live with them as family. So I still can’t believe people comepletely flip out over this couple in the tmnt 2012 show in Nick, but are perfectly fine with Baatar and kuvira being in a relationship and being engaged.
