Being angry if you see that things that you care about are being damaged by rude inconsiderate behaviour is absolutely morally justified. It’s the right thing to do. If you see a weak person being attacked, a strong person should stand up for them. The solution is a combination of things you can do yourself. 1. Fly less, use electric transportation, ride a bike and if possible reduce the need to travel long distances by moving closer to your workplace, choosing a holiday location close to where you live, etc.. 2. Reduce consumption. Repair, reuse, rent stuff. Buy locally produced sustainable products that last a lifetime. 3. Eat healthy sustainable food. Vegetables, fruits, nuts, locally produced seasonal food with minimal packaging. Chose foods that were produced without poison, without artificial fertiliser and with respect for biodiversity (no large scale monocultures). Join a local community that grows its own food. Search for ways to improve your behaviour. It will make you happier and healthier as well. 🍃 🌲 🌳

Sorry, but Svante Arrhenius thought warming the planet was going to be a wonderful thing... He certainly NEVER warned of the effects of "Global Warming." For everything he knew about chemistry, which was a LOT, he knew nothing much about the planet, and how global systems worked... That is not a shot at him, but nobody knew how warming the planet would be so horrific, way back when... by the way, Svante Arrhenius's mother was a Thunberg, and Greta's father, Svante Thunberg, is named after his distant relative. It hurts me that people call environment activists 'liars' and 'hypocrites'. Climate change is not a fairytale told by your granny, it's a global issue which is scientifically proved, and people are suffering from it. I've seen people near my area beg due to hunger, because the harvest was bad that year, and there was no food for anyone. People don't have water to drink, heatwaves are deadly and winters freeze our souls. Just because you have not experienced it does not mean it does not exist. I saw comments on this same video saying that this girl goes to protest in cars, which emits CO2 and then talks about global warming. I completely agree at this fact but again, this is not a reason to completely ban this girl (as some other people in this comment section are wishing to).They body shame her for her appearance and accent. Only if we they would have paid that much attention to her talks, scientists won't be searching for another planet to live on. Oh do you mean all that criticism was a joke? Please think some MORE. The carbon fiber in ANY carbon fiber manufactured product is CARBON CAPTURED. The constant horseshit from the climate change deniers is that "oh carbon fiber (or plastic) so much pollution" which is TRUE but DOES NOT affect our contribution to global warming. That CARBON is CAPTURED. Our problem with these crude oil products is the end of useful life disposal. They do not decompose, they breakdown smaller and smaller (microplastics in the oceans for example). A tree will DECOMPOSE at the end of its' life, boat or branch falling on the ground it will always, in time decompose, some of that is co2, and THAT co2 is part of the NATURAL carbon exchange that has ruled this planet since it was formed. Greta was on a sailboat made from carbon fiber, as long as we take that end-of-life carbon fiber and BURY it, it will lock up that co2 for millions of years. @@merakibeautybykb

Well, I agree with her message. However, there are more peaceful ways to go about it. For example, she should have stayed in school and go onto college and do what her ancestor did or something like that. That way she will carry more weight into the future. Ultimately, I am disagreeing with her statement found at 3:15-3:21. It is true that the sooner the better, but it is also true that she should invest in herself with her education.
