You would assume that her vocal gift on like her father. However, Maliaha Jackson said Aretha's mother had one finset voices she had ever heard sing the gospel. She took her oldest with when she left Rev Franklin and made her living partly buy giving piano lesson. Aretha was outstand musician and song writer as well as vocalist. Her piano playing her musical ear was was on a musical genius level. But always continue to improve her musicianship taking music study at Juilliard Music School in summers.
