I think he basically just likes doing it as a victory lap since even when he analyzes his wins he just likes to look at when he makes good moves. I much preferred the first couple of episodes where he paid more attention to the analysis although this impatience tilt is pretty funny.

If you don’t know NL, you can pre-move pieces during the opponent’s turn so that it will be made immediately once your turn comes, as long as it’s still legal. That’s likely what the guy did at 23:58

NL, I believe you can "pre-move" your pieces if you know what the opponent is going to do. Like in the game against utku_bd at 23:57 , I'm pretty sure he had the pawn set to capture your knight ahead of time. That's why his turn was so incredibly fast. Definitely keep up the great content and hopefully try to get more used to the controls/interface so you don't keep accidentally blundering your queen lol

Turn click to move off. This will make it so you have to drag the piece in order to move. Then if you want to cancel a move you move it back to where it was. Or somewhere it can't go. Or off the board.

Don't be so embarrassed/freaked out by your rank and stuff, we know you haven't played for years and years. And if you were starting fresh, you'd be at like... 700, not 1350. So it's completely an issue of how much rust there was and how hard it is to scrape off, and honestly only losing like 100 ranking in a decade is mad impressive. It will take more than like a dozen games, lol, to re-learn and get back in the groove and progress further than when you were younger.

there was strong resistance around 1500 level. Currently stuck on a channel, 1400 first resistance to overcome, but I am still confident, latest defeats were just to shake off the weak hands. Great support around 1300. The fundamentals seem also solid: childhood gig as chess prodigy, I am holding, I am long on the lion.

NL, for future reference, there's an option to enable pre-moves on chess dot com. With it enabled you can just move a piece wherever you want when its the opponent's turn and if its still a valid move when its your turn, it'll automatically be made. Very good for blitz. Egg Bless

You should play with increment. it is an option if you clock on the button that offers more time controls. And don't worry about the blitz rating. The blitz pool of players is much bigger and stronger than the rapid pool.

You can change settings so instead of click and drag you click and click, in my experience there's fewer mouse slips that way
