Simina Sc If we look at the original little mermaid it becomes obvious. The mermaid (Sayaka) falls in love with a prince (Violin boy I forget his name) and makes a deal with a sea witch (Kyubey) to trade her voice (sayaka’s soul) to become human (in sayaka’s case she trades her soul for violin boy’s fingers to work again) the mermaid goes to land and tries to have the prince fall in love with her but he falls in love with another girl (Hiyomi) the sea witch says the mermaid has to kill the prince, but the mermaid isn’t able to do it so instead she jumps into the ocean and becomes sea foam and is nothing more than a memory for some people. In Sayaka’s case she turns into a witch and then gets killed in her witch form which transforms her into a memory for Madoka and Homura. Sorry fir the essay lol but I’m really bored and this was an interesting comment

You know, I wonder if part of the reason Homura seemed to dislike or at least try and avoid Sayaka is that Sayaka reminded her of herself. I mean, both of them made wishes for people they cared for immensely and think how Homura felt as Sayaka likely constantly made her wish for Kyosuke and constantly failed and became a Witch. What if, in her heart, Homura sympathized too much with Sayaka and it scared her to see over and over the horrible fate that befell Sayaka and what that might mean for her and her own wish.

I think homura missed all of her friends how she was willing to team up with kyoko for walpurgisnachet and never could bring her self to tell the truth about witches to mami saying it pained her to much to put her thro that much pain

I think she misses all of them but I think she realized a long time ago that she wouldn't be able to save all of them and since getting close made their deaths hurt MORE she stopped trying and focused on the one she made the wish for trying to save at least ONE of them. Plus personally I think she might still be a bit afraid of Mami after that one time.

I think Homura deslikes Sayaka because she hurts Madoka with her actions and attitude being a magical girl: lets remember that Madoka was constantly crying and worried abput Sayaka's fate. Homura actually says it in certain scene "I just don't want Madoka to watch you fall apart". So that is why she does not like Sayaka

Oh! That’s a good theory! I think it was because of how Sayaka always treated Homura and pushing her down with her knowledge of how Homura is, like we see in one episode the one about Homura’s past that Sayaka thought badly about Homura and didn’t want to team up with her, also like I said before Sayaka pins Homura down with her knowledge on the type of person she is, I think this maybe scared Homura just a little.

In his defense, she wasn't being clear with her feelings for him and he was dealing with his own issues. Hitomi even gave Sayaka the chance to tell him and she didn't take it. She never at any point came forward and told him she liked him and just (hopefully) expected him to notice.

And when her Soul Gem corrupted and became a Grieef Seed, she would turn into a witch. Anyway, either way she would die. Sayaka said that she could never hug or kiss Kyousuke with that dead body. That was my point of view. And I think neither Hitomi nor Sayaka would have a good relationship with Kyosuke, this can be clearly shown in the third film.

if you think about it, Sayakas whole story is literally based on the Little Mermaid, giving up her humanity for her love, just for him to date her friend. but i wouldnt say it was all Kyosukes fault, obviously Hitomi knew Sayaka loved Kyosuke , but still went out with him. i feel so bad for Sayaka, finding out she is no longer actually human and having to see the person she's fighting for leaving her for her friend. poor girl..

This song touched me a lot, it made me cry, it tells about an unrequited love and a painful heartbreak of a magical girl who used her wish to heal the hands of the boy she loved, but he never showed feelings of love for her, and he doesn't care about her either. So, even though the wish was good for him, what Sayaka got was a heartbreak and unrequited love. Really sad.

Caitlyn Cavacas It's not a vocaloid. Sayaka Miki is a character from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, for the pals), this song is basically her whole arc. If you saw this video, you probably have an idea of what happened and all that stuff, even so, I highly recommend it. PMMM is usually ranked as one of the best anime of the whole decade.
