I just like how serious the writers took this. Sure we wish Adrien knew the truth but the way things are going we can see him becoming a villain. Lila almost getting what she wants in her first day than Gabriel in 9 months is insane. I love how they made LB use more physical fighting than relying on her weapons. I can see Kagami & Marinette becoming really close with each other than ever before.

This special really goes to show why I love Marinette as a character. I get that she’s made some mistakes, but she’s a teen superhero being forced to make adult decisions. I feel like if adults were to deal with this kind of stuff, then they would handle somethings better, and might make somethings worse, who knows; but what happens when the person making the adult decisions is a teenager, still trying to find her place in the world? I just hate it when people give Marinette so much hate/crap for mistakes she makes, but when other characters make the same exact mistakes, sometimes to an even worse degree than her, they just shrug it off. It gets on my last nerves.

I'm totally agree. Although I came to the conclusion that people who hate Marinette lack empathy, or in worse cases are misogynists. Because when you want to get into a debate with them, their arguments are literally extremely violent and not even convincing.

@@petitboludo I honestly hate how immature this fandom can be. It feels like when you have an opinion that’s different than the majority, you get bashed for it. Like, people; there are going to be people who have different opinions than you! I don’t care if you don’t agree with me, but if you try to argue with me why I’m wrong and you’re right, then you’re being immature and stupid!! Basically, if I could describe this fandom in one sentence; it’s like walking a tightrope without a safety net, with half of the audience cheering for your fall. Does that make sense?

@@petitboludo Thanks. Now, I want to go on record to say that I don’t think all of Marinette’s actions are justified or excusable, but I just love her character and I just find her more relatable. I know some people are going to assume I’ll blindly defend her, but that’s not entirely the case. Some people don’t have a tragic upbringing, and that’s okay. It’s important to have some characters that have good home lives, so that way those people in the audience that do have good upbringings to not feel ostracized. Even though I do find Chat Noir’s pins to be funny, I just can’t relate to him as much as Marinette.

The narrative of this special was so amazing that it makes you feel like you're growing alongside the characters. The maturity they're reflecting is quite noticeable and, personally, I feel that this was an excellent ending to the first arc of the series since it lets you know that there's still a long way to go. The difficult decision that Marinette made is something really unthinkable, if you put yourself in her shoes, anxiety literally eats away at your brain since there's so much uncertainty around. Especially her having to maintain the protection of an entire society. I'm simply proud to see how the writers have handled the journey of this series and how they're improving over time. I'm super excited for future seasons!

5:00 It would be called just an asylum I believe. I LOVED this special so much! The beginning recaps were a bit yawn but at least they kept it to a minimum. The intro music absolutely ate, as did the rest of the music. I’m glad they are putting more effort into the facial expressions of the characters because it really does make all the difference in conveying the characters emotions and getting the feels across.

Something I only noticed watching the second time, was when Lila first returned to the lair to reakumatise herself. The time she stops the digital clock is 22:00 (10pm) then we see the second time she does the same thing, it says 22:15. Why is this detail important? As Bunnyx said to Chronobug, in the Burrow, a second can last an eternity there. I have a theory that season 6 will be the alternate timeline which has to be reset, to undo Marinette's mistake of lying. We will return to that 15 minutes again.

Chronobug's suit was yellow so that Bunnyx would know which Ladybug was the present day one in case she crossed paths with an earlier version on herself.

This was a 6/10 for me wish it was longer I wish Alix was the friend Mario told her secret to in s4 cuz I love seeing their dynamic in friendship in this which is something we haven't really got to see I'm glad we got to see Lila cerise or whatever her name is use the butterfly more effectively than Gabriel never did he truly was not thinking I think he was blinded by trying to save his wife cuz truly the only good ideas he had in season 4 came from Natalie so it shows he just really wasn't thinking he could have been won seasons ago I did hate that we kept seeing the flashback part with Gabriel and Marinette in the final especially since cuz I don't really like the final the only thing I like from the final is bug noir and that's it everything else sucked I feel like this special made up for it from what others have said this special was originally going to be a 2 or 3 parter special that was going to be linked to season 5 but they decided to make the luncheon special and you can tell that that's what they were originally going to do because we did not see London at all in this special besides maybe one minute of it and that's it I'm still kind of annoyed that considering we've had the bunny miraculous this whole time you could have just went back in time and stopped Gabriel from getting the miraculous but I guess that would change the timeline ambiance maybe a change to the timeline would not be that bad But hey I'm not the one riding the show I liked Adrian's reaction to bug noir when she found out that his dad was gone and confused as to why her miraculous ladybugs didn't do anything I get and understand where he was coming from I also get how hurt Marinette was and understand what's happening with her you can see a lot of parallels with Marinette Gabriel and Lila which I think is going to help her in the future discover who the new hawk moth he is but considering we see adult bonics and they're still a hawk moth in the future that means even up until they're 20s they're going to be fighting Lila or possibly Adrian because I'm so strongly believe the theory that somehow Adrian will get the butterfly miraculous back and he'll become the new hawk moth we think it's going to be Lila but that's just a red herring Lila and at some point Adrian will get the miraculous he'll learn the truth about what happened at some point there's going to be another cat noir because looking back at the episode Time tagger we heard adult ladybug we know it's still Marinette but we don't know if cat noir was cat noir or if he was someone else Like Adrian really does deserve a villain ark maybe if we all talked about it enough Thomas will actually write his villain orca until the show like he did with the Scentsy monster thing cuz let's be real I do not think the sentimonster thing was something that actually had planned they saw fans rolling with the theory and that's when they decided to put it in the show I've seen other shows I'm into do similar things for the fans will ask for certain things or talk about certain theories that get popular and they'll put them in the show even though the creators will claim it's something they've done since the beginning it is not you can tell that they just saw fans reactions to certain theories or certain things and added it to the show in their own way and that's what they did here's hoping that the Lila is mino theory is true as well😂
