destro lock is misunderstood in cata, it performs better than affli on almost all fights and only falls behind demo on aoe. it got huge buffs in the last patch of cata that ppl forget about

Is double disc capable of working in a 25 man comp? Not asking if its optimal, just wondering if its fine. We've got 2 priests looking to play disc in cata

Double disc suffers a lot of the same problems as it did in wrath. Weakened soul stops shields so one priest misses one of the most important spells

I was a warlock in og cata and that was basically it, would resto druid here and there. But i have been a prot pally all of wrath classic and part of tbc classic. I am so glad we are getting the pre patch to have a little time to basically re learn prot and un train my brain on the current rotation😂

Most effective cata professions for warlock? tailoring/engineering?

engi is complicated because the gloves are on the same cd as trinkets and demo likes to use an on use trinket pre pull to get more mastery, but first tier the helmet is good.

tailoring/eng is not bad but tailoring/alch is also a solid choice for alchemy stone

Hunter is gonna be by far the most needed and wanted class in raids like tbc all over again. Not only because they top on damage, but because every hunter is just a spec swap away from being able to fill almost any gaps you may have in your roster from people missing raid or whatever. That is insanely valuable well beyond what any other class or spec brings to the table. Every 10 man is going to want at least 1 hunter and 2-3 for 25 mans. If you are on the fence about what to play and hunter is an option for you, play hunter.

From what I recall combat rogue is overall the top rogue spec assassination falls off in fire lands , sub is axing single target and speed runs, overall combat and sub compete with arms and fire mages, even with just the 2nd tier legendary daggers I personally was pumping always top 5 even with shit rng, people ranking. Rogues in b and c tier are in for s rude awakening heh

Been playing Feral druid in Beta. Way more fun than Feral in Wrath imo even though my copied druid is balance so being Feral with balance gear and runes isn't ideal but at least I know I don't need to waste time getting Feral Wrath gear.

People been using swing timers addons since Vanilla to play warriors properly. Not absolutely needed, but god damn did it make things easier. And ENH shammys also needed on in WotLK to maximize potential for the non spellhance. So... technically correct. Scottejaye exposed liar.

I relate to this guy about morb DK in wotlk. what a shit spec lol UH DK from cata-WoD is my favorite class of any RPG ever. Also this guy missed something HUGE about DK in cata; your runes regenerate sequentially instead of simultaneously. What this means is that.. let's say you use both frost runes, the first one will begin regenerating right away but the second will NOT until the first one finishes regenerating. This is where Runic Empowerment, and Runic Corruption for UH, comes in so you aren't bogged down by tons of dead zones in your rotation and why it is of absolute paramount importance to NOT WASTE ANY RESOURCES on DK. Unholy in particular becomes a much more difficult to play spec in particular in maximizing uptime on Dark Transformation while not wasting any runes or runic power. Dark Transformation indeed does not stack while your ghoul is transformed, which is why it's important to stockpile RP and a sudden doom proc one other distinction is that Frost has much higher burst, in single target and AoE, but while UH has higher setup time in both ST and cleave it does pull ahead
