I want to thank you for enlightening me, I was leveling a paladin in cata for prepatch, saw it's the worst healer, worst tank and D-tier dps and rerolled DK.

“My goal is to clear everything on week 1 so I just have to play whatever tank is the best”… This is pretty much the sheer proof that WoW didn’t change, people changed e. Let’s keep in mind that this is coming from someone who played since Vanilla. I’m so happy that I never felt the necessity to rush things in WoW and maybe that’s why I have much more fun than a lot of people. This mentality wasn’t created by Blizzard, it was created by the constant need of approval and complements from others.

One of the dumbest things I've ever read in a comment section. The game is always changing and everything is Blizzard's fault since they wield all of the power. Players can only exist in the parameters Blizzard creates, those being time limited content and weekly lockouts. It is the most aggressive form of FOMO in gaming and the players have always been too stupid to challenge them on it.

Maybe they have fun clearing everything in week 1? I guarantee these people are having more fun in wow than you, playing the way they want. Some people have fun playing the strongest specs/builds. Only a dullard would assume everyone would have more fun being casual and bad at the game.

@@stillnotchill2560 No they absolutely don’t have more fun than I do. You know why? Because when you clear everything in 1 week, then you start doing the exact same over and over and in less than 2 months they’re already saying that the game feels bad and Blizzard screwed up again by not having anything extra to do. On the other hand, I will be happy enjoying mechanics I didn’t know or things that are still nice for me eyes and won’t be complaining that there’s nothing to do and game is bad and crying to Blizzard about it 👌

Really thinking about going paladin in Cata, so this video got me excited. Probably want to go ret with a prot offspec. Also considering DK though, they seem much better in Cata.

I was a prot pally in firelands. My character was combat capped at 105.3 or something like that on the table. Made my pally always either block, dodge, parry, or be missed on the combat table versus auto hits and physical damage. Shit was broken on pally you felt it in a big way.

3:14:00 - Unless there is a boss that is mathematically impossible like pre-nerf XT, someone will clear it all on night one. There is no question people will full clear the raids the first week.

@scottejaye walked out and maybe missed something sutblefw said about about going alchemy was that you also get a pre raid bis trinket with mastery on it other than the elixirs. that's why he's choosing alchemy over leather working

Prot war coming Dragon soul is hands down top tier tank :) when you hit your avoidance critical block is busted to say the least .

No, you cant do the "thing you do thru-out classic" and apply ur Slice n Dice or Inq or SR, because this is Cata. And bosses dont die in a 30sec cd zerg, and there is zero progress and zero abilities. This is such a wrong mindset... and one of the reasons classic players will not last in Cata. While its not a hard xpac if you are familiar with modern WoW, it will still be Lich King on steroids as far as some bosses are concerned. And the least of your worries will be if you are gonna get a parse acceptable opener, because its not a thing, same as speed running wont be a thing.
