0:40 yes you can buy the train tickets online in Romania, I always buy them online and they are even a little cheaper this way. And usually in the train station you don’t have to wait for more than 0-3 minutes to buy a train ticket.

Yes, you can order tickets online in the country with the fastest and cheapest internet, isn't that strange? Softrans is also a faster and better alternative to CFR trains. And yes, from Constanța, you have to get 2 buses, one to Mangalia and another to Vama Veche (ch is c, k NOT tsch or si, so Vama Veke = The Old Border). Kudos for not taking a cab alone, not worth unless you split it with 3 friends or you don't really think money should matter.

See I must admit I was a little unprepared on the planning side of things so was lucky I had Parisa to make me aware of how the trains work there. I was mostly shocked at how busy the station was but thoroughly enjoyed the journey down there after negotiating my seat on the train. Haha no, I couldn't give in to the cab at the end I had already come so far. Ps - apologies for my terrible pronunciation. Glad you enjoyed the vid 🙂

It might have been a little high, I was travelling in early June 2022. I would like to add that I also booked this very last minute so roughly a day or two before staying there so this may have also added a bit to the price. Overall it was a nice place to stay and the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you for your comment anyway it's really nice to hear people's opinions. I've been all over the Balkans since these videos so be sure to subscribe and follow my journey if you've enjoyed 😁

It´s insane. A train ticket Buc.-Constanta (200/270km) cost 32 euro. In Sweden Malmo-Jonkoping (230km), so at a shorter distance costs bewteen 11-22 euro. Not to mention the super civilized travel conditions. A good salary in Romania is 300-400 euro/month (we´re talking here 90% of population). A good salary in Sweden is 2800 euro/month. Just a thought.

It is quite crazy to think about, being from England we also pay around the same prices or maybe more but also have the wage to compensate for it. I would say the price of living all over the world is rising currently though. And i will say once on the train in Romania it was quite a stress free journey 😃

My country is very beutifull and very interisting but Your choice....are bad and the momentes also 😃... Try better: Sighisoara, Cluj, Brașov, Iași, Timișoara, Hunedoara,alba Iulia, Maramureș, Sibiu etc.... Romania is decent now in almost 2023. 20 years ago will be probably worst. Next time try to take some cars, train sucks,and it will be faster anyway. Big cities are ok. But around 80% of villages and small cities are lame usually. There is not much to do or see there. West Side is better in my opinion. Caras Severin,Timis,Arad,Bihor,Cluj counties. Overall safe country because there are no migrants. 90% are Romanians.
@Deachinio072 жыл бұрын
Do you compare Caras-Severin with Constanta Really ? Or even Arad and Bihor..Transylvania i agree has a lot to offer, more than the other historical regionale but Constanta is the most touristic city aswell as Brașov in Romania..
@jamiemooreexplores2 жыл бұрын
I agree on the safety as over my whole trip I had zero problems anywhere. would love to come back soon also and check out some of the west. Truly is a beautiful country, hope you enjoyed the video anyway be sure to sub if you did as it really helps 😊

Thank you, this actually means so much and I'm really glad you've taken the time to comment. I'll definitely work at getting a nightclub video, it can just be a little hard though as they're normally very dark and loud places so not the best for video recording 🤷🏻♂️ night clubs coming soon either way 💯
