It's so hard to do this beautiful story justice, since the real story involved such a bigger group of people (1,000 people were killed and more then that joined them from the offending army), but i truly did feel the spirit bring this story to life for me in a way reading hasn't done. Both are so important, by studying and restudying these beautiful stories we learn so much about the grace of Jesus Christ and what it means to dedicate ones life to him. Thank you to all who helped make this beautiful tribute to these humble disciples of Jesus Christ who set such a wonderful example for all of us.

Being involved in this project was truly a spiritual journey and I feel blessed to have been a part of it. Portraying Queen Anti-Nephi Lehi alongside my husband Jacob as King Anti-Nephi Lehi was an honor. This experience served as a powerful testament to our faith and brought us immense spiritual fulfillment.

This story inspired me after my conversion and mission to bury swords that I had before I joined the Church abd served the Lord. Our swords are all different, but the Atonement of Jesus Christ allows Him to help us individually come unto Him. As President Russell M. Nelson taught, "Daily repentance is the pathway to purity, and purity brings power."

Beautiful rendition of this story. I love this story in the Book of Mormon. It makes me think about what "weapons" in my life that I need to bury. The people of Ammon demonstrated great faith in Jesus Christ and I am grateful for their example.

I don't think I considered, until now, that the people of Ammon considered that when they got rid of their weapons they were likely signing their own death warrants, nor how much sorrowing there must have been among the survivors. Powerful depiction.

Arguably one of the most excellent stories in all of the greatest literature.
Later in the Book of Mormon, when the Nephites had fallen into wickedness (just before the death of Jesus Christ), and the Church was broken up in the land (due to the great wealth division among the Nephites), except among these converted former-Lamanites, one of my favorite descriptions of a faithful people is given: "Who were converted unto the true faith; and they would not depart from it, for they were firm, and steadfast, and immovable, willing with all diligence to keep the commandments of the Lord". (3 Nephi 6:14)

The Anti-Nephi-Lehites have understood non-violent action like no other until Ghandi and MLK. Their faith, trust in the Lord, understanding of their covenants, and love for their fellow brothers and sisters is unparalleled. Thank you for this beautiful depiction to bring these ancient heroes to life.

There is a great lesson to be learned when we bury our own personal weapons of war. Weapons of war are not just physical weapons. They could also include non-physical weapons, our personal demons, our unrighteous dominion, our everything that keeps us from the Spirit of the Lord. Videos can be a powerful tool for all of us to consider, to learn, to ponder, and etc. Great project!

This is another great video that helps us better understand how Ammon's people put their trust in God to protect them and rely on His arm for deliverance from their enemies. The story of the people of Ammon goes to show us how we must submit our will to the will of our Heavenly Father and follow His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. I have always loved the examples and courage of the people of Ammon and know that it is truly an inspired witness to us in our day.

It is so moving that they bury the weapons of war as the people of Anti Nephi-Lehi did and turned to God, and even so moving as they and we bury the weapons of hatred, envy, contention, idleness, selfishness and unforgiving heart and not only turn to God and perfectly embrace and live His restored Gospel.

3:14 the parallel to Israel here is interesting. The Lamanites wanted to destroy the people of Ammon out of a misguided belief that they had "stolen" the "land of their fathers" from them. Yet, neither they nor the people of Ammon would be there if it hadn't been for Lehi et al. The land was given to all of them...not just the Nephites or the Lamanites. Likewise, the people of Gaza accuse Israelis of "stealing their land," despite the fact that the land rightfully belongs to the Israelites. They were given that land plus a whole lot more. They can't steal something that already belongs to them. The people of Ammon also couldn't steal what already belonged to them.

The people of Ammon repented of their sins, made covenants with Jesus Christ, and kept them with determination and sacrifice. From the Nephites who had suffered because of their sins, they received welcome, forgiveness, an inheritance, and protection. I rejoice in a Savior who gives these same gifts to all who repent, enter into covenants with Him, and keep them.

Thank you for the videos. Just a suggestion, i believe you would get more views with just posting the longer videos and not "watering things down" with smaller clips that are repeats and other content that is not the book of Mormon viseos. Also you should make a playlist that is just the long form videos in order from Nephi to Moroni.
