In June 2019, The Danish Broadcast Corporation (DR) aired a concert called “FANTASYMPHONY - ONE CONCERT TO RULE THEM ALL” performed by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, The Danish National Concert Choir, The Danish National Junior Choir with various soloists conducted by Christian Schumann.
The music performed was soundtracks from a wide range of fantasy movies, TV series and a video game reflecting different musical perspectives on magic, fantasy, swords, dragons, rings and bells.
Featured composers were John Williams, Howard Shore and Ramin Djawadi along side Ed Sheeran and Queen with music from Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Willow, Narnia and much more.

I Guess the downvotes is because of the vocal, but let me tell you this: Regardless of how great a singer, there is only -one- Enya (the original singer), and only Enya can sing with her special voice and technique. This is the best and most close to Enyas performance I have ever seen or heard. Really well done!

this is not a film take, its live, and its the best your gonna ever hear. the members of this orchestra have taken music forward to a place most folk could never imagine or even dream music could reach. they are without doubt the best in the world. I have to also say 'I love the ears' smiling with tears of joy.

I could not agree more. However, don't forget the people behind the scenes, making sure to record this in such a quality. I can't think of many live-performances, recorded this well. That said watching it in person was that tiny bit better. Can't wait for Galaxymphony in november.

You should hear the Prague symphony orchestra. They record majority of actual film take music for the biggest films.

They are a great orchestra. But it's very bold to claim this. There are so many world class orchestras In the world that literally sight read film scores. The principal trumpet player in the London symphony who recorded the main title theme for the original star wars (1977) sight read it on his first day on the job.

They are simply cheaper, and Prague has become a popular place to record movies for the same reason. Very high standards for half the price.
