I was in Delhi from late 2001 to early 2002, and that's where I first saw The Fellowship of the Ring. Sorry to say the theatre cut out several scenes to make it shorter, and it sort of didn't make a lot of sense until I got home and saw the whole thing. But it was a very fun experience. Movie goers in India seemed like they had way more fun at films than where I'm from.

the saddest thing abt the rings of power is that the cast knows, like and respect the lore, they are willing to do the right thing but those stupid writers chose to ignore Tolkien and make their own s*ht.

This is all a performance, "Auta i lóme!" and "Aurë entuluva!" On September 3rd, the Tolkien phandom awoke and found half of the Tolkien-verse under the dominion of the corporate machine theyocracy. Thus we bring "council in these dark times,": EXSURGE TOLKIEN, our current channel's counter series. It is now beyond a doubt that The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power" is independent of Tolkien and his world's Orthodoxy. ROP is the second of four heresies: a schism that will leave a forever rift between the phandom and wrought confusion for years to come.

what i really dont like about these new cast is that they just doing the show for the sake of the show. they never knew how many Oscar awards does LOTR ROTK had. In which, they just take it for granted. they must show hype on this show because J.R.R. Tolkien's world is just amazing!
@darthvegan4352 жыл бұрын
But Oscars have nothing to do with Tolkien's world! (Just Jackson's adaptation of it)
@iamkonrad262 жыл бұрын
@@darthvegan435 Jackson's adaptation cannot live without Tolkien's world. remember that!
@darthvegan4352 жыл бұрын
@@iamkonrad26 yes, I was pointing out that it does not matter that the cast doesn't know how many Oscars that Jacksons films had, because it is immaterial to Tolkien's world. A lot of the cast has researched lore in Tolkien's books, and some of them extensively (i.e. Aramayo). So, I'm not sure why you wouldn't like the cast for not knowing how many accolades that Jackson's movies have - even though I'm sure they've seen the movies. I've seen the movies countless times, and don't care how many oscars they received. I'm just saying that is not a great standard to which to hold the cast (and dislike them because of it)

Amazon calling the fans racists, but 'House of the Dragon' is getting good reviews. Are audiences racist for one show but not the other? Nah. Amazon's show is just bad.
@TheGreyIstar2 жыл бұрын
What’s the exact quote? When did they call fans racist? Also HOD while being excellent has no main characters who are POC, you can’t compare the two. What’s wrong with you Rachel?
@kiyaleelevyrunaya9495Ай бұрын
They are racists and bigots and incels. Because that is lìterally how the hate started. They cast black dwarves. They cast black elves. They cast black hobbits. They recast Galadriel, Elrond and Gandalf. They made Galadriel the lead of the series, rather than someone of a male disposition. The ruler of Numenor is a queen. The lead hobbits are female now. Thàt is where àll the hate leads to. What would you call that if not racist, bigoted, misogynistic and incel logic? And, for the record; Not Amazon, nor the showrunners, nor àny of the actors have èver, not once, fought back. They've continued to speak of the fans with respect and admiration. Many of the cast even felt pressure to know the lore well enough, one actress (who plays Isildur's sister) even felt guilty and struggled weeks after she gave a wrong answer to a lore question, during an interview. If you'd watch more interviews you'd see how much this means to them all and how afraid they are to dissapoint the fandom. But could you imagine working so hard on a series, remembering all of those lines, all those hours of make-up and wardrobe, all those months of acting, and doing stunts and learning how to fight, ride a horse, etc Only to be insulted, cust out, hated on and receiving death threats because: You're black You're a woman. Mind you; this while the cast and crew have shown nothing but respect to both the lore ànd the established fandom. But sure, tell us more how the racist and misogynists are the victims here ....
@kiyaleelevyrunaya9495Ай бұрын
And, for the record; House of the Dragon got a ton of racist comments as well. They lost many viewers during s2 as well. And they got hate hypes and bad reviews by bigots and incels too.
