They should have kept this scene in. David's look (when Max's headlights hit his face) said a lot, and yet was not a giveaway. It would have been a great bit of recall at the end of the movie.

I'm hoping the CW show will give us that! An animated show about the boys adventures through the years would be pretty amazing! The actors may have aged out of the roles for live action, but they could reprise them in voice acting! Keifer is a great voice actor. I could totally see Billy Wirth and even Alex Winters being up for doing voice work. Brooke McCarter would have loved to reprise his role as Paul! RIP Brooke McCarter.

I seriously wish they had taken advantage of it at the time while the actors were still young. I don't think another live action reprisal will work because we've all fallen in love with these fang babes, especially because theres only one Lost Boys. The more versions there are, the more open to change people are. But Lost Boys is such a time capsule, one of a kind and remaking it as a live action recast could go poorly fast, especially if they try to separate themselves from the source material. I think the only way to continue the stories is with an adult animated series, a comic or novel. There is a comic series but it STILL focuses on the Emersons, Michael, Sam, the only vamp brought back is David. The novel is pretty much a rewrite of the film with a few new things sprinkled in. And the sequels...... oh god. Who the hell ever asked for two movies of Edgar and Allan??? Nobody wanted that! Wanna know how I know? Because if you look up Lost Boys, or Lost Boys fan fictions/imagines/headcanons, or Lost Boy fan art- who do you see most more than anything? The boys- Marko, David, Dwayne, Paul. And it really sucks that we won't get another movie like it because I wanted to know so much more about them, i wanted to see the boys interact with each other outside of scenes centered around Michael (who, let's be honest, is in perpetual dumbass-mode).

@@aprilgosa5779 Well funny enough Joel did write a fully completed script for a prequel that was supposed to show how the boys became vampires in 1906 before the San Fransisco earthquake. The script is available to read around the web, but the real tragedy is- everyone wanted to do it. Joel, Kiefer, Brooke, Alex, Billy, Jami, Edward - they were even gonna have Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander reprise their roles as two young vampire hunters from "the old country" who try to warn David (when he's still human). Tragically, Warner Bros kept procrastinating and eventually Brooke left acting and so did Alex around the 90s, Kiefer was moving on to other roles and so was Billy. Eventually the guys outgrew their roles, and any hope of a prequel starring the original cast went up in smoke- especially after Brooke passed away from kidney failure. Granted it's not a golden masterpiece, but I have read the script and it's a real shame we never got to see the boys in their full potential because it gives them all a lot more screentime to develop their characters.

It's actually Marko saying "Yeah Momma". And this would not have given up that Max was the leader. He already told the Boys not to go to his place of business, so it only makes since for them to bone out when they see him coming up. Plus we don't know if this is before or after they met Micheal, I'm guessing after. Maybe they went to test Lucy out, or weren't into having Max want a mother figure around. Crazy Boys! Lol

@@user02o1 Joel Schumacher had pre-written a prequel that would reveal the boys' backstories (where they were turned in 1906 before the San Fransisco earthquake), and in it David was the only one who significantly resisted becoming a vampire- almost like Michael. In fact, he only chooses to turn when he's out of options and had nothing left to lose, so that's likely what Joel was hinting at with David not only begging Micahel to not resist him, but having the only peaceful death out of all of them. The tragedy is that the original cast and crew were completely on board for the prequel following the success of the first film and wanted to do it- but Warner Bros procrastinated (god knows why, the original was a huge hit) for so long that eventually everyone either had moved on or was no longer acting, until they were just too old to play the characters anymore.

they could have kept some deleted scenes...the movie wasnt that long. plus you dont get to see the boys a lot. it should have been a bit more focused on them i think...but it was still an awsome ass movie!!! i personally think marko was the hottest vampire. they were all pretty nice to look at though.

wow that is ceepy as hell but the producers figured it would have been a dead give away as to who max was to the boys given the scene where he curtly tell them about never coming into the shop. This scene makes it obvious that they were looking at their potential "mother" and why they gravitated to sam and mike out of nowhere plus Max just came up on the set by coincidence?

I won't lie; I had high hopes when I found out about a sequel of Lost Boys... But then I readed the comments; then I checked the petition for the release to cinemas... And then I saw the trailer... And I really wanted to shoot someone. I still want to... It's like a Joke. The first movie it's epic; but the sequel looks more like an excuse to make money luring the the fans of the old one. In my mind; the only Lost Boys will be the first.
