Thanks for posting this! It's refreshing to see Mayan culture from a non-european perspective. My mom is from Honduras and I go there often. I've also been to Copan Mayan ruins (which is shown in the video) and have seen the monkey statue. Also the white city of the monkey god is on the opposite side of the country and hard to access and it's said to be cursed. Much love to our Indian cousins!

You fly into San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Then you go to the bus terminal from that same city to take you to the Copan Mayan ruins. The actual city of the monkey god is inaccessible and locals avoid it and claim its cursed
