Personally I don’t like that they took away the green m&m’s go go boots. She always made me feel empowered watching her growing up. She was unapologetically sexy according to society’s standards yet she was just being her girlboss self. I know I definitely have some sort of rose colored glasses on and nostalgia involving green (she was my favorite after all). Definitely gross that Mars is using these changes as a coverup, and hilarious that Tucker Carlson lost his shit over what the m&ms are wearing on their feet. I’m also a little worried about how they’ll portray orange “accepting his anxiety.” As someone with generalized anxiety disorder for as long as I can remember, just because you accept your anxiety doesn’t automatically help anything or change behaviors. My anxiety makes me terrified to make and answer phone calls, and accepting that doesn’t help or change anything (the easier with practice line doesn’t work either for obvious reasons). It doesn’t make me stop the symptoms of my anxiety disorder. I acknowledge that everyone is different and will have different experiences with anxiety, I just think Mars needs to step carefully about how they handle the anxiety acceptance involving orange.

I kinda wish they had just switched her to like combat boots, but knee high ones. Give her a more utilitarian feel so it's more practical, without taking away from her empowering feeling, it satisfies both ends of it.
