As someone who has been with MST3K for a very long time, i cannot overstate how jazzed i am with this project. Beaulieu and Conniff, you are the soul.

Agreed! Discovering The Mads Are Back made my year. In addition to being funny AF, Misters B & C making TMAB available on KZbin represents a valuable public service and is, as you noted, a dream come true.

Among the other many wonders in this short, this reminds me how great typewriters can be when used as percussion instruments.

I'm on board with the idea of a little R-rated riffing. It's something I've wondered if there's a niche for - riffing for grown ups. Getting a few "swears" mixed in without needing to be censored is a nice change of pace. Congrats on the new channel. Keep it up. Would be down for feature length riffs in the traditional style too.

@@TheMadsAreBack- We'd like a little "cheeky" adult humor from time to time. I've even shouted out some R-rated riffs while watching with my wife. Nothing too crude or out there, but stuff like the cartoons used to have that would go over the kid's heads anyway.
@michaelkottler Жыл бұрын
Your point re: "riffing for adults" is well-taken, and I'm pleased that The Mads are able to deliver the goods w/out censorship.
@michaelkottler Жыл бұрын
100% dope live-riffing from Trace & Frank. Office Etiquette provides ample fuel for The Mads to drop comedy science & a plethora of hip & socially relevant references ubiquitous & obscure. TMAB on YT = a much-appreciated service to humanity. "Some things I learned the hard way...I had made a mistake, of course...Since then I've learned a lot of do's and don'ts". Ms. Spencer, you are a philosopher. Intelligent, insightful, & frequently perspicacious wit and charm make this a must-watch for both general audiences & fans of MST3K/The Mads. "It will be a moment. Wait for it, won't you?" Because: How different our use of English is now compared to the 40s and 50s.

It sounds like Miss Purcell's students are some kind of Skull & Bones society, the way they seem to get ahead just from people knowing they were her students.
