This resonates well with me. I always feel like nobody quite gets the thought process. I'm always looking for contingencies and alternate strategies in my head and always tend to connect with certain people on a deep level that seems to intrigue them. Very seldom do i find someone who has a similar process though.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I feel like some types of people appreciate the unique perspectives, but I also have experienced getting pushback or resistance to anything outside of the "box".

I find it more and more fascinating to use introverted intuition onto itself. It's like a do-nothing process of observing, yet within the root of Ni seems to be the essence of our being. Sometimes tapping into this space brings me to the deepest resonance of something true, where nothing in this physical world can compare. And in that space a connective impulse would naturally emerge. It makes sense why MBTI tries to quantify this as extroverted feeling.

Good description! Prior to typing correctly, a few things hinted at me being an Ni dom. My immediate appreciation of metaphors & similes. Also, my constant emphasis on the big picture & my ability to predict outcomes. A few yrs before revisiting MBTI, I switched my major to sociology. As a subject that’s based off of the observations of patterns in society, it was natural for me as an Ni-Fe user. I think all of the subjects I excel at are very INFJ; sociology, counseling, music, psychology, philosophy and anthropology. People often describe me as “insightful.”
@annemarieINFJ
@annemarieINFJ Жыл бұрын
Those are all the interesting subjects! I have always been drawn to psychology, but was pressured into the more mathematical/logic sciences (physics, chemistry) and wondered why I couldn't seem to get into it. Now that I have a deeper understanding of myself I don't try to force anything, just go with what feels right and what I feel called to explore.

Really an insightful video, It really helped me alot the way how the infj finds patterns around them to solve the problems of others and to understand their mind on the deeper level. You are really an healthy INFJ, and I admire that. Would you please make a video on how to find an healthy INFJ or how to find a true and genuine soulmate for a successful relationship

I wonder if an INFJ with CPTSD would find it difficult to read those responsible for their trauma (parents, siblings). I am very good at reading others with the exception of my family.
@annemarieINFJ
@annemarieINFJ Жыл бұрын
In what way do you find it hard to read them? Like their emotions, or their intentions? I think it makes sense that it would be harder with people who raised you. I've also noticed that I have a hard time staying in my light around people who have hurt me in the past. Its like just being around them brings you back to who you were at the time when the impact was biggest, and they see you that way so they aren't open to seeing you any different than you were back then, and will continue to treat you the same way.
@nancybartley4610

@@annemarieINFJ I am glad you asked whether I had a hard time with reading their emotions or intentions. I needed to narrow it down. The odd thing is that I did read both, but I hid that from myself. It is just too hard to accept that your family isn't/wasn't there for you. Emotions influence intentions. My family lacked emotions for others. But I needed them to have emotions, so I gave them emotions and assumed good intentions. Thanks for your input.

@@nancybartley4610 I suspect it could be you have an interest in a greater good, and they have a selfish interest, in other words you're giving and they're taking so you're always going to end up short. I try to remember to trust my intuition and to cut people off completely if they are only interested in taking from me. I used to be reluctant to take such bold action, until I heard Warren Buffett say that you can't make a good deal with a bad person, and when that person's motivations are clearly bad you need to cut the ties even if you're at a loss, I've been taking that bold action lately and I feel much better. Although now I don't speak to 95% of my family. I look at it and the sense if my family didn't give a crap that I was being abused as a child why should they give a crap about me now.

🤙shaka and mahalo, alohawahini (Hawaiian thumbs up and thank you, lovely lady.) Humor is my favorite outlet as an INFJ. Humor is so effective for breaking down barriers, helping others to relax in my presence, helps people to open up. Gives a safe space for uncomfortable truths. Lightens the mood of others, gives me a personal sense of joy to make others laugh and accept their shortcomings and those of others. Helps to keep things light (we INFJ'S can be heavy)... There are so many good ways that humor can be applied to most any situation. I mention this because you did not. Not being critical, just adding my experience as per your request. Another thing, if I may be so bold as to suggest. Practice free-flow delivery (stream of consciousness) with your presentations. The fact that you are reading from a script is evident and leaves in question whether you are genuine. Anecdotes from your own experience would be helpful to establish your 'qualifications' to address this audience with credibility (me, at least). I like what you have done here. This feels real. No robovoice. No stock footage or paid actors. Your real name (I assume). Your face (no doubt). Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with us. May God bless you always 🙏🕊😊

Also, genuinely thankful for your feedback. It is super helpful and appreciated. I have quite the shell around myself, but am determined to take it down here and there and lighten up for the world to see. This channel is the next step for me. There aren't any people around when filming, but the pressure is still there. All I can do is keep going, which I am. Thanks again!!

Dear Madam, we, as INFJs, with our Ni as primary function, are the only ones who are the pioneers to the next step in human evolution.... INFJs have to learn to use their Ni without thinking... Sound strange, because thinking is one of our principal functions (Ti)... As an INFJ, just try to "die", dissolve your ego completely...see and feel what happens next... Everything what Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tse, ... said will become very clear to you....May be I can introduce Jiddu Krishnamurti to the INFJs...I think that the most of the real INFJs will understand what he tried to explain to humanity for more then 50 years...

Thank you for introducing me to Jiddu Krishnamurti, I haven't heard of him before. The problem with completely dissolving the ego is that it can be hard to connect with gen pop. I have seen many people who take DMT or another induction for eliminating ego, and while yes they have profound experiences, they are unable to relay their findings to others because they aren't integrated. There needs to be a direct connection that will resonate with people who don't have the Ni function. And I think to do this, we need to keep our other functions intact. What do you think?

@@annemarieINFJ Dear Madam, you cannot dissolve the ego...Without it, you cannot function...the ego is thought...a cumulation of your memories, experiences, conditioning,...an idea, an illusion...since your first breath...If you really realize that, having the total perception of that, there it is that Ni is so important. Nobody has an exact definition for Ni, even Jung didn´t (he was even "afraid" of it). There is no definition for Ni. What we tend to call Ni is out of our capability to grasp with the human mind, which is very limited...I call it the portal between "what is" and our ego, our illusional life, put together by thought. It´s only when you use Ni, without thinking (!), emptying the mind, that it is possible to percept the "truth". Thanks to Ni, someone is capable to see himself in his total, looking behind the screen of a movie theater, and see the total picture and observe the facts, not the beliefs or ideas. This portal, Ni, can lead to the unlimited intelligence. (our strange realization of just knowing things....). May be a little tip for the seekers of "truth" : start with completing your inner child work. That´s the first stage. Then continuing to go deeper till you reach your first breath, the moment with your "innocence" got lost. Then go before your first breath and experience, as some call it, the sacral, the holy, the omnipotent,...That is why INFJs are blessed. That is why we are different. The general population, as you call them, is indeed not capable (yet) to reach this state of evolued human being. They don´t have Ni. That´s why we feel so concerned about worldly matters and have holistic ideas, beliefs, thoughts....kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5ukl3yijrmqbLM (Dying to everything each minute | J. Krishnamurti) Dear Madam, to live and love, you don´t "think"...
