Lovely Robins song along the canal,makes a winter day so nice,but early on a spring morning 30 minutes before sunrise is best for the Dawn Chorus,when a variety of birds sing to proclaim territory and attract.,such a blessing for you both to witness it on the canals

It really is beautiful. We feel very privileged to hear the bird songs. Paul has got up to listen to the dawn chorus in the past, I am not a morning person unfortunately, but he has recorded it. Hope you have a lovely weekend ❤️

No two days are the same for weather on your vlogs, its always a suprprise in the UK. You have so many friends and narrowboaters you meet up with. I tend to think you would only come across continual cruisers once or twice a year , if that. Maybe those you keep seeing all stick to a specific area like yourselves due to work or family etc ? I love cruising early in the day, but I'm an early riser anyway. Lovely vlog and area thank you. Hope your getting ready for Christmas and can get some quality time together xxx

Hey Susan. Definitely a surprise with the weather 😂. We have made so many friends in the 3 years we have been aboard. Some boaters do still to specific canals but we have probably done a significant part of the North and even ventured south this year, which was amazing. I am definitely not a morning person but sometimes, we get up so we can cruise longer. Have a lovely weekend and fingers crossed we can all have quality time with our loved ones ❤️

I bought a dehumidifier and put it in the bathroom with all the wet washing and it dries it all in 5 hours. Keep the portholes and doors to the bathroom closed. I have quite a lot I can’t put in a tumble dryer so this has proved invaluable!

Another great vlog and so very pretty. Dex you really are so beautiful, and my god so well behaved, I reckon you and Dani, who’s lying here at my feet, would have been great mates. Paul you’re more patient than me, I’d have been loosing my s*#t waiting to get into the boat when it was so cold. It’s just great to have the silence while cruising but it’s getting to the stage I’d be thinking it’s just not worth it, but that’s me as long as you guys are happy, and I’m just a grumpy old B.
