Mando S2 was also very "Clone Wars heavy" and I'd argue that it's still the best season of the show and overall one of the best Star Wars seasons we've gotten. And besides I doubt Embo is really going to be the main villain anyways. He'll have some cool action scenes against Din no doubt but I think the main antagonist is still yet to be revealed.

The difference Disney LF will never understand especially with Filoni in charge of creative SW decisions currently is that GL SW may have been written with 10-14 year old boys in mind, but it was written from the perspective of an adult. I so hoped that when they announced that Jon should do the next movie, I did hope it was HiS movie. They finally realised that it was because of him that the Mandoverse worked for 2 seasons. I also thought that Dave got a s2 of Ahsoka so he didn't have evidence to mess with Jon's movie. Now it is just another nothing burger. If Jon had still had control we would probably get something like a Heir to the Empire kinda movie. He did said he wanted the fans to get Han Luke and Leia back together again. "Make new characters." I seem to recall there was a recent Star Wars show that was full of new characters. I think it was called "The Disciple" or "The Follower" or something like that. According to the thumbnails of practically every Star Wars KZbin video for months now, it was so awful that it killed Star Wars forever and there was much rejoicing when it was cancelled. Yes, ruined and killed forever, just like Season 3 of Mando, just like Andor (for some), just like BoBF, just like Kenobi, just like the sequels, just like Solo, just like Rogue One, just like the Clone Wars movie, just like the prequels (until we all put on nostalgia goggles), just like the Yuuzhan Vong, just like most of the EU that isn't Thrawn-related, just like the special editions, just like the Ewok movies, just like Return of the Jedi, just like Empire Strikes Back when it first came out, just like the Holiday Special, just like whatever Lucas' original vision for the first trilogy was supposed to be, before he realized that the henchman character was instantly the most popular and decided the whole thing would be about him now.
