This film is criminally underrated. It's a better spy film than this year's Bond movie, for crying out loud! I really hope that the rumors are true, and Mr. Ritchie gets to direct the next 007 film. Perfectly, boot Daniel Craig from the series (he had a decent run, but is getting really bad after Skyfall) and do another reboot that is less Bourne-like.

It's a comedy/suspense/thriller with a touch of romance. Written for adults who appreciate witty banter and filmed for people who like style, design and color. The actors were excellent in their roles and showed great comic timing. The story is mostly predictable even though there are quite a few surprises and at least four great scenes. There could have been more romance, especially with Alicia Vikander stealing the scenes, but maybe that would have been too sentimental. I can't wait to buy the Blu-Ray! The audience I saw this movie with laughed a lot, and seemed to really enjoy it. 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

Like everyone on here, it’s extremely underrated and pure awesome fun from start to finish. Armie and Henry are gold. Guy gives Cavill more brio and personality in one scene than Zack Snyder did in three whole films. He radiates charm and verve in this film. One of the most weekend watchable films ever made.

I just saw this movie during a long flight. I saw it listed in the entertainment system of the plane, had never heard of it but I decided to watch it because it had Henry Cavill and this is always a very convincing selling point. And I feel like I hit the jackpot. As other comments say, it's an awesome movie and it's really appalling how unnoticed it went (how come that I didn't even knew about it??). It perfectly balances action and humor, example: the scene of Solo calmly eating and drinking in the truck while his partner is being "massacred" is hilarious... and then he just plunges the truck into the boat of the bad guys, waits until it sinks, dives his way out and saves the guy from drowning. Brilliant.

This movie is different from most spy movies I’ve seen. This movie has its own cleverness, sophisticated, and sense humor that I like tremendously. The acting was great, the characters were charismatic, the plot wasn’t over complicated, the chase and action scenes were great, and the chemistry between solo and kuryakin as rivals spies made it enjoyable and fun to watch that they have to come together for one mission for the world’s sake. Humbly I really think guy Richie knocked a home run with this movie right out of the park. Such a great and underrated movie and I hope to see a sequel soon.

Guy Ritchie should make a sequel . It's one of the most enjoyable spy film. The first scenes when Solo encounter Ilya the camera filming style, the atmosphere, the acting are all perfect like a beautiful work of art. Guy Ritchie also added a little touch of film noir.

I watched it yesterday and I LOVED IT! At first glance you'll probably think, this is just another typical spy movie but the truth is, its not! This movie sets a whole new standard for spy movies. There are quite alot of flirting scenes which are subtle WHICH IS EVEN SEXIER, hilarious scenes but at the same time action packed. The casting is amazing, I really thought they made the right choices, the soundtrack was beautiful and the outfits are extremely classy and gorgeous. I can go on forever but you guys should just watch it before I write you the entire synopsis. Haha

Regardless of Armie's scandal, Richie wasn't gonna make a sequel anyway. The movie bombed in box office and they probably don't want to risk losing money again 😢

andreadesmocedici No way! Sir Sean Connery was 32 when his first Bond film came out in 1962 - Cavill is 31 now, let's do it! This is D. Craig's last Bond, right? Lazenby was 30. Dalton, Moore, and Brosnan were all in their 40s as was Craig, but it's not unprecedented. He just has the look, and if you've seen him in Tudors, you know he's a legit actor.

look4lec Age does not really have anything - well, ok...not something like a 21 year old for arguments sake - to do with who plays the character in Bond. Lazenby was just WRONG for the part...totally awful. Connery nailed the part because of how he carried the character - I was brought up with Roger Moore (View to a Kill is still my favourite Bond film, but that's down to Christopher Walken being the bad guy) and will always prefer him. No matter what age the actor is if the timing of their choice is not right they just won't win over the fans. Remember - Brosnan was wanted for Bond back when he was doing Remmington Steele - at that age he just wouldn't have worked as Bond. After the subsequent (and unsuccessful sadly) casting to Timothy Dalton - I think even Lewis Collins was asked at one point - there was that break for several years, and then thankfully Brosnan stepped in and success! I would like to see someone like Cavill in the part but I'd like a bit more maturity to the character yet...let him earn his bones for a few more years yet and then try it ;)

Just finished watching it. Damn what a movie! Mixture of Adventure,Craziness, James bond attitudeness funniest all others things music too.. Enjoyed watching through out the movie. Great work. We need sequel or I will just go look for it if there is. 5/5 stars.

finally re-watch it after all this years i told myself i was going to do it after i watched the tv show that is base on so i could understand it more at first i was confused but than i understood it was before Illya and Solo knew each other and got together so when Waverly told them they will continue working together using a code name even before he said it i knew what he was going to say! U.N.C.L.E - that just made me emotional 😢
