What isnt mentioned is that John Horrocks commissioned a church in his adopted town of Penwortham in the Clare valley and became its graveyards first internee! His Camel was shot in the paddock below the church and was buried with a tree on top, which can still be seen today.

A bit of a slip of the tongue there Sir Tony! Only very little Australian exploration was done by the Brits in "the eighteenth century" and certainly none of it in the middle of it. 1800s are covered by the "nineteenth century"! 😜😁
