A couple of questions came to mind after watching the ep... why is there no recap that explains why grogu left with luke at end of S2 and is suddenly back with mando at start of S3? why do the mandalorians perform baptisms in giant crocodile infested waters? How did a creature that large remain submerged in that shallow a body of water? why do the mandalorians stay in melee range and use grappling hooks against the giant crocodile? how has navarro maintained law and order without any form of law enforcement? how did ig-11 remain mostly intact after self destructing while in a pool of lava? why does mando think that replacing ig-11's memory board will restore his previous state? why doesn't mando just get a new droid and program it to protect them? karga even offered to hook it up why is the pirate who attempted to murder the high magistrate allowed to go free? why do the pirates go after mando instead of the defenseless navarro planet? why does swamp thing boss get mad at mando for killing his troops, that he sent to kill mando? what does target locked mean, since it clearly does not mean locked onto the target? why did bo katan's forces leave to become bounty hunters if their goal is to follow the owner of the dark saber? why does bo katan criticize mando as a fool for clinging to old traditions in the same scene that she clings to an old tradition? the writing felt incoherent and uninspired, we might get another season of side quests with no overall arc. disconnected episodic adventures with cute cuddlies and member berries might interest some ppl, but i think most SW fans want a good story arc that we can invest in...

That part is explained and seen in the serie Book of Boba Fett Luke asking Grogu to choose between to be a Padawan or going back to Mando

@@frinzyakaTojeh Yes I saw book of boba, but Mando still needs a recap as a matter of continuity. Favereau is assuming that/forcing ppl to watch book of boba in order to get that bit of the story. Anyone who did not watch boba will have no clue what’s going on

You sound like you're fun at parties. That is an awful take, do you enjoy anything that comes on your TV? Who thinks about the depth of water while watching a giant alien attack. That was your issue not Mando coming back to the clan he was exiled from? You're not gonna ask why Bo Katan didn't attack Mando in the throne room for the darkj saber? You are picking at bread crumbs dude holy. None of these are worth thinking about wtf.

@@Guineapig816 If you’re happy with pointless and incoherent story telling as long as it has SW member berries and cute grogu, then by all means enjoy the show. But I saw RotJ in the theater and have been a SW fan since before most of the ppl here were born. I have a high bar set for SW, and this is fan fiction at best. Favreau still doesn’t have any clue where this story is going.

"Off to a Good Start" ... only if you don't care about credible story, continuity, suspension of belief. If you only care about "oooooh, ahhhhhh" SFX and fan service cameos, (Babu Frik Anzellans, IG-11, Purrgil, Bo-Katan Kryze, Chapter 9's Krayt Dragon, I mean giant snapping turtle...etc ad nauseam...then it's off to a "good start." Bad Batch 'Metamorphosis' is superior Star Wars.
