I absolutely agree, bro. Unfortunately, at the age of 20 I fell victim to PEDs. I knew about the side effects from the start but For whatever reason I thought it would happen to me. I’m 23 now. Hair loss, ED, possible organ damage, the whole 9 yards. It really pisses me off because these drugs aged my body prematurely and I wish I didn’t because I never even gave myself a chance to know my body’s capabilities naturally and in hindsight, I didn’t even know myself that well at all. I appreciate that you’re on here preaching this word. Like you said, if I could go back in time and pelt myself with bananas, I would.

Yes, but my body is visibly aging pretty rapidly. I am 21 years of age and I look twice older as NH. He mentioned, in later occurrences that he was a Millenial, putting him around 35-40 years of age. The dude looks young and even so ff 2 years later he grew his hair even more I even have stretch marks and wrinkles on my face. Thus being in this state of affairs, the aging part seems the last of my concerns.

I also was tempted by sarms because of some KZbinr who claimed if has no side or negative effects, only benefits. So the next days I made my own research outside KZbin, looking for actual studies and scientific data + individual anecdotes from people who used them. After a couple of weeks I learned everything I needed to know, that basically sarms are completely garbage with tons of side effects, and decided not to take them. No long after that I found your channel and I'm now convinced I will stay natty for life.

This is why I have a lot to thank NH for. I was always convinced I'd never do PEDs. That it would mean me turning "corrupt", so to speak. But NH showed me there's still *glory* in staying natural. Even if PED users are still physically dominant. Despite everyone saying naturals aren't cool. They are passé - as they say in French. Imo, before NH, the natural BB scene was pretty dead. There was still AlphaDestiny, and Scott Herman. Maybe Nether?.. haha. But everyone seemed to lack confidence in calling themselves "natural", lest they'd be considered, "cringe." It's funny how the term "Noble Natural" was used to be disparaging, but turned into a label of pride. Albeit facetiously. It's also interesting how ppl saw NH as being preachy, but what he really was, was proud. That's not exactly something other naturals were like. Coming from those tempted by PEDs, it's expected they'd see things that way. (Not trying to be antagonistic/tribal here.) Depressed natties no more...

@@anonymousman4419 I will say that it is significantly better. I live in an area of the world (ex Yugoslavia) where smoking is the highest in the world, and it annoys me way more than alcohol. Kids here start smoking at 13 and get addicted for life. Atleast most people here only drink at parties, but smokers need to smoke a pack of day everyday or they get crazy withdrawals. They lose all sense of morals, and start going from person to person and start begging for money to buy cigarettes. Everyone in my family has smoked or still smokes (except me), and I know that they will die younger because of it. Alcohol is easier to quit (atleast in my opinion) because it isn't something you drink daily. If you distance yourself from the party culture, you will not even feel like drinking. Smoking isn't like that because you do it all of the time, and quiting leads to a massive withdrawal. Alcohol still has addiction problems, especially if you use it to cope with difficult situations, but it is still overall easier to deal with.

@@kariusbaktus165 This isn't up for debate. Exogenous hormones keep you in an anabolic state as long as you take them. Naturals need to train frequently because lifting itself is the catalyst for muscle protein synthesis, meanwhile a guy on even just test will be anabolic 24/7. Why do you think pro bodybuilders train body parts once per week? The answer is because they don't need the extra frequency to restart muscle protein synthesis thanks to those very same hormones. One of the best reasons IMO to NOT use PED’s is the fact it’s just a real F around. You’re already dealing with training, diet recovery, injury prevention etc. This is already much more than most people want to deal with. Do you really want to have to research the compounds including ancillaries for estrogen and progesterone management, PCT etc, then research the UGL/brand. Then, even if you want to half ass it you’ll need to research local labs so you can at least make sure your gear isn’t fake and at some point make sure your lipids and blood count isn’t so out of whack you’re one bad day away from a massive heart attack. Basically it’s just gonna be more time, money, effort and discomfort than you’re gonna want to deal with. Even if you have 0 health problems (you very well might not have any drastic issues) you’re gonna have to deal with having test levels lower than the average 80 year old woman for at least a couple months, but it’s likely you’ll have low t for longer than that, AND their is a chance you won’t start producing test naturally and will be on TRT for life at an early age (this was supposed to be a TL:DR but ended up longer than the OP lol)

I was just thinking about this. It takes a sh1t ton of work to get your pharmacology right, but also putting PEDs ontop of regular training also makes it nearly impossible to suss out what works for you. Normally you have to control a single variable at a time (volume, intensity, diet, sleep) and see the change in results, whereas with PEDs you are stacking another variable which will change the rest of the variables because different compounds function and respond to different types of training, diet, sleep, etc. It makes it nearly impossible to perfect your training. I think this is also why the majority of PED users deflate like a shitty pathetic balloon animal when they hop off. They never ended up learning how to train

It’s being dishonest about reality and enabling someone’s self destruction or folly, and presenting such a lie as a kindness. But in fact idiot compassion is one of the most harmful things you can do to another person. Because you are actively helping them destroy themselves while pretending to be their friend. The idea of drugs being like a living, breathing parasite truly hit me different. The lone thought of that gives me goosebumps. Just imagine: All sorts of drugs are different parasites with their own systems of "benefits" and temptations that they have evolved into having to leach on a host (user). Then, once you get hooked, to keep you engaged they give you that "good, bad moment" relationship that NH has talked about at the begining; all to deepen your addiction. After that's been done, they begin to consume your mind and body, make you miserable, and later kill you. But that's not it. While you're alive, under the influence of the parasite (steroids), deep down you feel insane guilt for ruining your life, so you try to bury it in lies that you tell yourself. However, you realize that there are still people outside of your addicted community that you know can dig out the truth you're so desperately trying to bury. Therefore, you go against them by targeting younger and less experienced generation (because they are easiest to influence) pushing an opinion that introducing a parasite to your body is actually an amazing thing to do. And by doing so, you normalize the usage, and even make it seem as a good thing by always talking about all the said "benefits" of the drug. All of that results to more and more people being hooked, and the parasite (drug) spreading itself unto more users, leading to its "reproduction". Then the cycle repeats. In conclusion, the "parasite" makes itself known to the future host through already affected hosts. Then, playing on its (potential) hosts' emotion (such as ego) it gives the temptations of all the "benefits that it can provide". Once that person takes the bait, the parasite infects them. Then, as it is are inside the body and the host realizes that what they did was a mistake, the parasite uses the same emotions making the host gaslight itself and others into believing that there's nothing wrong about the said parasite. The rest is fairly straight forward.

The Really messed up thing , that the culture of Pro Bodybuilding and PED users and all their posters across any Gym .. that they actually make young people afraid to build muscle ! i met A LOT of people when we talk and i say something like (So what's your goal in the Gym , building muscle ?) .. they get scared like Oh No no i don't train to build muscles i don't wanna be like that Huge dude Aka IFPP Pro . and they don't understand that u won't get this disgusting look by training Naturally ! People now instantly think when u tell them the word (Bodybuilding) or even i wanna build muscle in the Gym they refer back to IFPP pro and go like Oh no i want a body like Christiano Ronaldo or something i don't wanna build muscle

At the end of the day you choose the kind of life you live. PEDs mean a certain kind of path and I prefer the challenge natty gives. This is not to say there is no challenge with PEDs, but if you go down that path it necessarily either takes over your life or you are basically a fake natty. Neither seem healthy to me, since I have other things in my life than lifting.

34:40 You do realise it is their bread and butter right ? Today you can have a youtube channel and do a lot earlier bodybuilding was just bodybuilding and that's just their life they chose. So what next mr. NH you must not be having any sympathy for stuntman too because they brought the risk of life to themselves or people who like to drive fast or are working in other dangerous areas as well. I like your content but don't think that all of us would fanboy on every aspect and agree with you.
@fabian268
@fabian268 3 жыл бұрын
Tbf i don’t think he expects that. He started off by saying that you’ll probably hate him for saying it lol. That being said, though i don’t have a complete lack of sympathy, i don’t think he’s necessarily wrong for it. It’s not necessarily the same as being a stuntman or fast driver. Because with those you’re risking a good health, but it’s not impossible to avoid compromising it. With PED’s you’re basically ensuring you won’t have a good health. Feeling sympathy more for people that endangered themselves less i think is completely reasonable, so it’s not that unreasonable to not feel sympathy for people that guaranteed themselves a compromised health. Again, not a complete lack of sympathy on my end, but it certainly wont be as much as someone that drove too fast and died in the process.

Hey man enjoying the content. I'm a 15 year "natty" lifter. On and off of course but all in all 15 years since I first touched a weight. I'm doing some workout videos with focus on knowledge sharing, good attitude and motivation. I have a video in my pipeline going into details on the fitness industry, expectations and p e d s. How it distorts perception of fitness and long term body culture. Tips for starting practioners and insights into physiology, practice etc. Just like what you are doing a great job of explaining on your channel IMO. If in youre interest I would gladly invite you for a shorter discussion on lifting and p e d s influence on the strength training community. My story is pretty much the same as yours. Was really interested when young when I realised how much long term hard work progressing naturally would be after 3-4 years of progressive lifting. But decided that I would atleast want to be a proof of what you can du casually as a training individual. Still take pride in that since I know for sure my methology and mentality has worked in hindsight and feel confident in giving advice etc. Anyhow gl forward!
