The trail to Mardi Basecamp is not difficult at all. Especially under these conditions. Good video, thanks

Your videos on trekking in Nepal are incredible! We're choosing between Kopra Danda Trek and ABC for this November. Which one did you like more?
@TheMenWhoStareAtMountains6 ай бұрын
Thank you! ABC is more spectacular, but it will most likely be very crowded in November. The Annapurna Conservation Area Project prevents people to build new lodges above chomrong and even banned expanding existing lodges. Because the number of trekkers is increasing, though, there is often a shortage of beds in high season. Especially at MBC and ABC. You can hire an experienced local guide, who might be able to book rooms for you in advance (not possible by yourself). If you want to go without a guide, you risk having to sleep in the dining room. Kopra Danda is not quite as spectacular as ABC in my opinion. It still provides great views, though. It should be a lot less crowded and (unless you happen to meet large organized groups) finding rooms won't be an issue. You could also consider Langtang or Gosainkund as great one week treks btw.

Great video as always. Been to ABC....this one seems a safe one to do with kids...spring 2023 ...here we come!

Thank you Prasad! I also think that this one should work with kids. It's a bit easier than ABC.

Excellent video! I did ABC + Mardi just last month in the reverse direction. You got picture perfect weather on Mardi! I wasn't so lucky with the clouds, just got brief clear weather in the mornings. ABC was beyond spectacular though. The view of the ABC trail from the Mardi ridge you got on camera was amazing. The rainforest between Forest Camp and Landruk was really cool and it might be worth pointing out to your viewers. Also Landruk is a great lived-in village where you can interact with the locals, definitely worth spending a night there. I personally thought Jhinu hotsprings were tacky/touristy and didn't bother with it. Again, really awesome effort and I hope you get more subscribers for the outstanding quality of your videos. Also look forward to your future ones. I did Khopra/Muldai 4 years ago and want to see how things have changed now! (hopefully not much!)

Thank you so much! 😊That's very kind! You're right, the hot springs were a bit crowded. But it's still relaxing for the muscles. 😁

Which is the best month to do ABC trek for spectacular views October end or November end ?

November is better. It gets colder but also more clear

Great video. Can you please tell me approx cost for 2 people in Feb end for this trek if we complete it in 5 days starting from pokara.
@TheMenWhoStareAtMountains2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😀 That very mich depends on what and how much you eat. A Dal Bhat costs between 500 and 700npr. A cup of tea about 100. A double room is between 300 and 500 per night, excluding shower and phone charging. I would recommend to estimate between 2000 and 3000 per person per day.
