Just don't know the layman's terms To call the mess you bleed Crawls beneath the surface Sought blood through a family tree The date's been changed With each new phase I'm anxious bouts of nervous What am I without the bruises? These switches won't come on What do I do to lose it? Beneath this distress call [Repeat: x2] Let the wheels burn, let the wheels burn Stack the tires to the neck with a body inside Frames of infrared Keep scrolling into focus Scarab claimed the busy signal With the habits that you noticed The date's been changed With each new phase I'm anxious bouts of nervous What am I without the bruises? These switches won't come on What do I do to lose it? Beneath this distress call [Repeat: x2] Let the wheels burn, let the wheels burn Stack the tires to the neck with a body inside Take in all the hostages Into the Oval Office Draw the curtains, part their hair And pull the trigger softly If they have become empty Then I'll just take you with me One driver in your motorcade Is all it takes, is all it takes Selling graves in Teflon veins Is all it takes is all it takes What am I without the bruises? These switches won't come on What do I do to lose it? Beneath this distress call [Repeat: x2] Let the wheels burn, let the wheels burn Stack the tires to the neck with a body inside

This Omar character strikes me as one of these dudes who's convinced he's a genius. I've played with plenty of these dudes; all he is is a good garage guitar player who can write a melody. He's not a musician.
@jireal199 жыл бұрын
He solos on the guitar constantly. He writes his own songs in several of his side projects. He performs with passion. He writes melodies. Yeah, you're right, I guess he is still not a musician.
@neerbronoc9 жыл бұрын
fuck off.
@reidalldabooks34189 жыл бұрын
Keep your g string on buddy....I like his music. But I think there is something about musical composition that is out of his grasp. He's obviously a very talented guitar player, and he can put together plenty of catchy riffs. I work with people who compose music on the page. In this respect he's not a musician. But that's no big deal, he's good at what he does. Though he's not the messiah that he thinks he his.
@neerbronoc9 жыл бұрын
"I work with people who compose music on the page" is the most uptight, elitist bullshit i've heard in a long time. it doesn't take theory to be a musician. just the ability to play. also, last time i checked composer and musician are two different things.
