The best part is that you truly learn the essence of various internal martial arts from great masters. The camp not just about learning another new form; the training focuses more on the foundations of internal energy. The theories and practices are explained thoroughly, allowing us to ask questions to the masters and their assistants. It’s not like the old traditional way where you’re discouraged from asking and just expected to repeat. Once you gain an in-depth understanding of different martial arts, it becomes much easier to select one for your martial arts journey. Tell me, please, what does martial arts have to do with combat sports??? If you want to be a martial artist, you study martial arts. If you want to be a competition fighter, you train fighting skills for competitions. These are two entirely different things. The fact that a few delusional so-called martial arts masters did some stupid things is not proof of anything, other than what I wrote above. However, martial arts studies will help any combat fighter improve their skills and widen their repertoire. About Chi, you don't have to train it, to have it. We all have it, it's the energy that keeps us alive. Any skilled fighter has developed mastery of chi to some extent, willingly or not.

@@LauGarSifu I disagree. I had only basic Tai Chi Chuan training for 1½ years, got in a fight against a really bad street gang of 4 - and beat the shit out of them. Still don't fully understand what exactly happened, but I had a huge advantage: My movements were absolutely strange to them, they had no idea how to counter them and got totally confused. I pulled, kicked, punched, pushed, but witnesses said they saw me performing my usual form, only fast. For me, however, everything happened in slow motion, in the speed I use to train the form. I had all the time in the world to foresee, even think about my counters. That saved my life. All I got was a superficial stab in the back and a few scratches. You should have seen the other guys. The most important in a real fight, without rules, is your mindset and your instincts. If you are in control of your body and able to use what you have efficiently, you can win. Else, no training in the world will save you. I had never even learned any applications, not to this day. After this experience, I don't give a damn about standard applications, they are more an obstacle than an advantage when your opponent does not know and use them, too. These demonstrations, where "attackers" hold a fist in the "masters" face are jokes. You never see a realistic attack in these demonstrations. The only way of showing the truth would be a full speed attack, countered and then shown in slow motion. Everything else is just shows.

Yeah, 12 days of people spending a lot of money and being compliant, that's a big fake show very difficult to put together. Or may we may be missing something? Just open up and be curious, you don't need to believe anything, just find one of these guys and experience it!

@@Prueba_Te No need to seek them out, over 40 yrs of experience in martial arts here to include studies on Okinawa, in Korea and the Philippines and as for large numbers gathering together to follow a belief, it can be challenging but there is always those willing to drink the koolaide...just ask Jim Jones....wait a minute nah can’t ask him because he and his flock of followers are dead....because they believed.

@@Prueba_Te I hear you. But, it's very hard to believe this stuff. It doesn't seem to fit normal patterns of movement or violence. So, what is necessary is a breakdown of what's happening..if we're to believe that what we're seeing is real.
