Great video Rom! I hope you don’t mind me adding my own Personal weave wearing observation. My wife is a beautician who is self employed and due to her occupation I get to see women behind the mask. Some women have no choice but to wear weaves or wigs. They have lost hair and their scalps are disfigured or has splotches of discoloration. Many men would never approach these women if they attempted to go natural. I’ve even felt sorry for some of them after seeing what father time has done to them. I agree natural is the way to go as long as you can. What really makes women look bad is cheap hair that looks fake. And young girls should never wear weaves. My wife is a licensed beautician who came here from Trinidad to study beauty in one of the more established beauty schools, and she feels most women are lazy when it comes to maintaining their hair, and that’s why they wear weaves. I know men say they want natural, but if they were able to see the hair and scalp condition of some of these women they would understand why they do what they do. I enjoy your videos because you speak the truth, keep doing what you’re doing.

My theory is this though, a lot of women dont know how to separate friends from associates. If they go out drinking and clubbing with a particular set of women every weekend they consider them "friends" when in actuality, they are casual associates. That circle of associates aides in these women having to put mask on. Imo.

Good Video definitely Rom! Makes a lot of sense as well as being facts too! That's why when dealing with women and vice versa, women dealing with men , it's always best to give the best version of you and how you really are as a person. In spite of your accomplishments and the material things you have to go along with your credentials , it's best for you to stand out as a person over all of those things that you have and accomplishments rather than using your accomplishments and material gains to win you over and stand out when it comes to dealing with people! That's when you become a masked man or woman because that's what you're showing up with in the beginning when dealing with people is your accomplishments and material gains. It's best to let those things eventually speak for themselves and show up with the real you as a person and then once people eventually find out, I'm speaking on both ends as far as the woman and a man, it'll make people respect and see that value in you even more. Preferably, that's the way to do it because it'll carry you so much further in life when dealing with people because they are seeing the real you as a person and then they eventually find out about your credentials, accomplishments and materials gains! If you just show up with those things in the beginning instead of letting them see the real you, that's all they're going to be looking at because that's what you showed up with to make yourself stand out so therefore you have that mask on. At some point, you're going to have to take that mask off and as soon as you take that mask off, you're not going to be looked at the same, it will change the whole dynamics of things when it comes to your outlook because of how you displayed your self in the beginning! I see this all the time and I know you do too as well, that's how you're able to make these videos and talk about these things. Like you've said, that mask will carry you a long way but it will only get you so far. Even though some people are used to people who wear a mask and don't want to see the real person behind the mask, Oh well! At the end of the day, those particular people who claim they don't want to see the real person behind the mask , it's not going to make a difference anyway because those particular people intentions aren't good anyway! So therefore, it's best to display the real version of you because it'll carry you so much farther down the road and life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love makeup but I use natural cosmetics and skincare to avoid toxins. I use a light hand as well because I want to not be mistaken for being transgender😂. I dumb myself down often and usually stay hush about my business endeavors. I let men think I am just an administrative assistant until they prove worthy of knowing additional info. It is typical to ask about college though.Men are pleasantly surprised when I am dressed up even though I don't dress sloppy. I don't believe black men like natural hair unless it's straight or curly but not kinky. Black men can be real fucked up about hair. Black men that are 50+plus seem to compliment my hair and be most sincere. Porn and rap videos have got women doing crazy shit to their bodies because men are shaming them for what they do or don't have. I have had men shame by breast size. Thank goodness I never got implants and I am ok with my body at this stage in life. I just exercise so I can look my best in all my clothing and in my birrrfffday suit.😊 I agree that many women do way too much. My girlfriends and I chat about this often.

Uncle Rom, you really got deep on this one. Great video. I've been forever grateful to have known about the masked woman since I was a teenager. Mainly, the second type of masked woman. As it is known that the true power women have is deception. In fact, I gotta bring up something regarding women wearing the weaves. When I was younger I started having a thing for women with shaved heads or short hair (i.e. Meshell Ndegeocello). Except for those sporting the short, cropped blonde. When I got a chance to watch Chris Rock's Good Hair a few years ago I just to had smile. It revealed a lot more than people wanted, but it was the truth. However, there's another form that's been pretty common in the past few years. And that's women sporting certain types of piercings and/or tattoos. They would have something generic like a tribal tattoo. Along with sporting nose, navel or tongue rings. More times than not she's faking the funk. Especially, those that are heavily inked/pierced. Same goes for the color contact lenses. Overall, women can't be themselves since they don't want to deal with reality. They'll take a beautiful lie over the hard truth. Big bro as deep as this one was sadly it only scratches the surface when it comes to masks and the women who wear them. I look at it from a few angles- Most women that I have dealt with wear a mask, whether overt (appearance mask) or covert (emotional/dispositional mask). It seems illogical for me to hope to find one that doesn't, especially as I get older. That being said, I just look for the mask that I feel (hope) hides the least amount of crazy. At the end of the day, nothing will last longer than my willingness to endure it.

No sooner as we got married I saw it. She was lazy as fuck and did not see doing women's work had anything to do with her, despite all her black women should be doing this ra ra ra while we were dating or her doing stuff to impress or show she was on it. I was a highly demanded speaker and she use to attend my events regularly before we got married. Once she got that ring she never attended one event. However, when I was invited to top international events eg speak at the UN in New York, Geneva, the Caribbean or Africa or Dubai the bitch would be making plans even before asking me. I never took her to any of those events because I read the play. You see in those events you stay in five-star hotels and you can bring your woman and she gets top treatment based on your reputation. The first time I left her with access to some of my money just in case of emergencies while I was abroad for a few weeks she went through £40, 000 of my money and she contributed nothing. She did not bring one dollar to the marriage, everything and I mean everything was mine. In short, I divorced her ass. But to this day it taught me nothing is as deceptive than a woman who got her eye on something she wants, especially if other women want it. If a man is a prize he got to watch his ass. I never seriously dated a black British woman again after that. My mother warned all her sons to beware of women because she knew they were prizes and she experienced the warfare when she got engaged to my father with rivals coming out from the woodwork with hatred for my mother. But my ex-was good very good. Devious and deceptive as fuck. Hence why to this day I dont trust most of these so called conscious sisters who say all the right things and do all the right things when they aint got no man..They selling their wares..Wait until you buy it by which time it could be too late.

N.E I dated a wonderful Art Professor sister when I was based in the US. Really top woman but could not take it to another level. As my father said you don't marry an individual woman you marry a culture and I have seen enough of the workings of the black female peer group in the UK to think I would risk it in America where things are 10 times worse. the only way to tell if somebody wearing a mask is you get in person and listen to their answers and take mental notes and evaluate outside person and see what they really on.
