PREMIERE. Film "Master and Margarita". ''THE MASTER AND MARGARITA'' ENGLISH VERSION
Master and Margarita (2005) is a Menippean film based on the eponymous book by Mikhail A. Bulgakov. Set in Moscow under Stalin and in Jerusalem under Pilate, it has several story-lines where history, religion and politics are intertwined. The sacrifices of Master, a talented author of a manuscript about the biblical Pontius Pilate, and Master's muse - Margarita, are paralleled by the biblical story of Ieshua in Ierushalaim, and the deceit of the cowardly ambiguous Pilate, whose character alludes to a Soviet leader. The reality is distorted by Satan Woland , and his lieutenants, who are manipulating public events and people's lives by pushing the buttons of human weaknesses and sins. Margarita taps into Woland's power, trying to save Master. The character of Master is autobiographical, burning of his manuscript alludes to what Bulgakov himself did under threats from the Soviet authorities.

So glad to see this movie/series back up. For a long time high resolution copies were not available. I first read the book in 1985. I have probably read it five times since then. It is one of the greatest books ever written. Pure genius.

Спасибо вам! Действительно было тяжело.Работа заняла полтора года. Но самое лучшее начинается с 6 серии. Все голоса озвучивал только я сам. А вот с женскими голосами была проблема. Но с 6 серии всё стало на свои места. Мелодии пришлось подбирать, потому-что запрет на оригинал. Все звуки, это заслуга моей супруги. Иногда даже ей пришлось озвучивать, например рыдающую секретаршу, и многих других. Был действительно адский труд. С уважением к вам Александр!

for Cheese and Onions. i am from russia. i am sorry. you can not feel greate power of this film without real polish speach from this greate these russian actors. i very like Faraon(1966). the Kingsajz(1987), Seksmisja(1983), Vabank(1981) and other are very good films in deep russian language. i read the Jan Bober series by Arkady Fiedler when i was teenager. it is very good. "The sea wolf"(ussr,1990) by jack london is very very good, but a viewer should have polish version. People who criticize the translation probably mean the dubbing. Yes, the English dubbing is problematic but at least it was done by Russian speakers who were passionate about it. If you've read the novel, the accents disappear after a while and you hear how characters really speak.l

Зачем Русскоязычному человеку смотреть на Английском? Лично я не понимаю. Я делаю этот фильм на английском по просьбе многих американцев, ведь у них нет выбора. А субтитры они говорят, что это дерьмо, лучше вообще ничего не смотреть. Так как либо ты читаешь, либо смотришь, и нихрена не понимаешь. Вот и я бы их спросил, зачем они смотрят этот фильм на английском, будучи Русскими? Но если честно, работа невыносимо тяжелая.

Я русскоязычная, но муж англичанин, ему тяжело читать субтитры. Булгаков мой любимый классик, я читаю с упоением иэтот фильм считаю шедевром. К чему я это, муж всегда просит переводить ему русские фильмы, но в этом случае, я фильм не смотрю, а перевожу. Спасибо вам ребята за английскую озвучку. И не обращайте внимания на всяких ебанутых критиков. Вам надо вообще поставить памятник - я то знаю, как это сложно и долго. Я бы вообще всему министерству культуры России пиздюлей дал. Куда эти ссуки только смотрят. Давно бы уже сами озвучили на профессиональном уровне, для продвижения русской культуры на запад. Я по работе правлю STR файлы к английским, немецким и французским сериалам, и знаю как долго для этого надо мудохаться. И это только субтитры. А тут озвучка!

Огромное вам спасибо. Да, это адский труд. Учитывая, что нет людей, чтобы озвучивали мужские роли, поэтому приходится отдуваться мне одному. С женскими ролями ещё хуже, вообще нет никого, кто знает английский. Каждый раз приходится искать залётных, да и то, без знания английского. Сегодня надеюсь закончим 8 серию. Моя жена занимается монтажем, если бы не она, ничего бы не было, ведь это самая главная часть адской работы. Ещё раз вам огромное спасибо, вдохновили на дальнейший хоть и не благодарный, но тяжелый труд. Обычно Русские нас только грязью поливают. Музыку мы тоже ставим другую. Музыка Корнелюка блокирует всё видео. Да и фильм тоже блокируют, поэтому мы снимаем полностью все звуки, и создаём свои как можем. Спасибо!!!

I am from Russia, and we studied that novel in middle school as mandatory item of literature subject. But I was too lazy to read it. Then I have watched the film on that novel. I liked it. And now I try to watch English version of that film with automatic English subtitles from KZbin to study/enhance my English. This is strange feeling to hear and read English of that I have heard in Russian. But sometimes automatic English subtitles supplied by KZbin do not correctly reflect the speech of actors, sometimes - with greate mistakes, for example: "make his friends free" instead of correct "make his hands free".

I agree with you about subtitles. You know, it was very difficult for us to make this movie in English. It took us a year and a half. And the saddest thing is that we weren't allowed to use Kornilyuk's original music, and we had to look for a cover version.

Почитала комментарии и вот что хочу сказать, работа ребят и правда не из лёгких. Очень люблю этот фильм, поэтому отправляла этот фильм многим из моих учеников и друзей иностранцев, субтитры с русской озвучкой однозначно не для них, на 15 минут максимум хватит. Что музыки нет конечно плохо, музыка впечатляет, но ютуб не все принимает и это нужно понимать. P.S. у автора сложилось мнение о русских. Я русская и как то не очень приятно читать об этом😬😬😬

Мы живём в Приднестровье, и приобрести лицензию на музыку Корнелюка не можем из за отсутствия легальности нашей республики. Вот так и работаем, делаем из того, что есть. Из всех актёров озвучиваем я, моя супруга и знакомая девочка.Если вам есть, что посоветовать, только будем рады.
