I’m a retired palliative care nurse, that connection is so important for both of you. I’m struggling a bit here to find the exact words, but it is about humanity, and keeping that alive. The person who is ill is still a person, and that can get a bit lost, in that they can become the illness and the person gets forgotten...I experienced this many, many decades ago when my best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, a battle that sadly she ultimately lost at 34 after a valiant 6 year battle, and I’d get so angry on her behalf with all the people close to us, because she was being spoken of only in regards of her illness, and I’d think “her name isn’t cancer, her name is Kim”...probably why I ended up working in that field. And there is the part of how emotionally difficult hospice is....you don’t want to become clinical and detached, but at the same time you need to be able to keep doing your job...finding that halfway point that recognises that you are both human beings is key. Sounds like you are an awesome hospice nurse, and your patient is very lucky to have you..and another yay for Mike and ThatChapter! ☘️ God bless.

Even with a danger that could wait I wouldn't wake him.. 🤔 As far as with peeps I've known this is pretty normal.. 🤔 With every comment anyone says "is not normal" , it's important to stop first and think "is it though?” Don't let the current popular narrative make you look upon objectively normal behavior as abnormal, as it's a slippery slope to where, one day, when most peeps do this ( innocently ) yours & others completely normal behaviour becomes a reason to label you unfairly "abnormal" too.. 😁☮️🌏

So calling people "wrong" in these situations just means you shouldn't complain/ say anything when you get told you are "wrong" or "abnormal" for your individual non- objectively wrong choices.. Can you make a video about Nick Cordova? He was shot and killed in his office back in 2020 during a FaceTime call with his wife and kids who saw everything. There is a very clear photo of the suspect, but still two years later, police have no leads. With your platform you could give this case a ton of exposure and potential help solve it.

Narcissists who kill people usually think they're smarter than everyone else. But they are stupid enough to actually think they can get away with murder. With forensics today and DNA technology the chance of actually getting away with hurting someone is growing increasingly smaller. The big issue in the 70s and 80s was everytime the police got close to catching someone they could just leave the state and law agencies didn't communicate. Today you leave tiny pieces of you everywhere you go and with phones, dashcams, doorbell cameras you can't go anywhere without someone catching you on video.

@@braetonwilson4296 OR he was desperate.... I know several couple's where the husband MUST have been desperate. Why do I say so ? ... That's private. I had one girl friend who fell pregnant (Not even sure SHE knows the real father) and who tried to creep in to my life faking fatherhood for me and trying to secure a roof over her and her baby (I found this out later). She is married with a guy who is so occupied with his job that he's happy to have married a woman who already had a 1 year old !!!!! She wouldn't bat an eyelid if she wanted to change, but his bank account is full..... Good for them. At least she hasn't shot him - yet.

Sir Mikey, crickey!! This episode is filled with so many hysterical one liners, insults, clap backs, etc etc, from you, that it’s its own show! 😂😂 You really are a funny guy! Thanks for keeping everyone laughing, especially us new ones who’ve missed out on years of a good time. I’m in Texas actually, and I’ve never heard of such a sheriff’s office being so lax in its policies and straight up not adhering to the law. Perhaps a desk wide hanky panty gate was occurring over the months, years.

Same here. I’m lucky enough to have grown in what’s basically a mcmansionville (it’s got an old downtown, but everything else is mostly post-70’s mcmansion divisions, with some sprinklings of generic pre-80’s divisions), and I’ve grown from thinking “Aw man, I hope to have a big ass house and shit loads of money” (I partially grew up in a 60’s ranch), to now not even envying much beyond maybe their wealth/money, if they even actually have that and are not deep into debt just to have that flair of “See??? We’ve got it all, folks!”. Too much drama and bullshit we’d see from their otherwise “extravagant” lifestyles.... And yet, so many people think that achieving a similar lifestyle will actually solve their problems. 😶

Classic move by the interrogator to use the Alternative Question: "Did he kill himself and then you covered it up?" This is really just a ploy by the interrogator to get her to admit her original story was false. Then when the autopsy results contradict suicide, they know exactly who was responsible.
