I love the leader of The Mavericks, Raul Malo. He sings this song beautifully! Amazing voice! Watch him play Gretsch guitar, he picks "two ways". Partly strumming with a guitar pick, then tucks pick between fingers to pick with his fingers. Amazing voice, guitarist & producer. Peter L. ......Peter.....I could not agree with you more. Neil can’t sing to save his life. Neil Young should be an inspiration to anyone who wants to sing. If he can sell a recording of his voice, pretty much anyone should be able to. In fact, I’d rather listen to his father (Columnist Scott Young) typing on his Underwood 5 than hear Neil’s voice. However, .....this is a good song and The Mavericks do it better than anyone I’ve heard. And it may be the only song Young ever wrote worth anything.
