The MAX Announcements Have Been Updated

Well, a few of you guys have asked if I'll make a video on the new announcements. The answer is... pretty obvious. This is that video. Thanks to all who were involved in getting the old announcements.

TBH i miss the old announcements i love the variety's that what gave its identity. trimet should have done a goodbye video

The max mas had a new voice for 2 months now, TBH i miss the Jodi and Enrique voices EDIT: the new voice is slightly programmed wrong, The New voice says "Quatilma" instead of "Quatama" 2ND EDIT: the Trimet WES Commuter train still has the Jodi and Enrique voices

I’ve also noticed the type 4’s and 5’s had a slight delay when announcing the next station with the old announcements, whereas type 1’s, 2’s, and 3’s all said them cohesively.

I miss Jodi's voice.The new voice doesn't say the "be alert and stay safe" message.

I don't really like the new announcement voice tbh, especially the Spanish announcements since it just sounds like someone with a vague idea of pronunciation (like 1 high school semester's worth of knowledge) reading a Spanish script. I highly prefer native Spanish speakers for those announcements, it sounds more genuine.

I loved the old announcements and I am very sad they are gone. My guess is Trimet didnt want to pay the voice actors anymore because the new announcer sounds automated.
