I was on an airplane when it was stolen. when the plane landed and i turned my phone back on, i was bombarded with text messages about the theft. it didnt seem real. to this day, when i drive through Blythe, California, I still look around for the truck. Sadly, its long gone.

I can tell you as a kid my Dad briefly worked on the show as a mechanic. It was a real shell of a car they mounted on that wall at the WB lot. Me and my brother got to tool around on this electric cart and drive around the back lot - it was definitely a trip. Then we were able to meet the cast/crew. It was definitely surreal to watch my dad Krylon fenders of old Coronets with hugger orange paint to help get them ready to be jumped lol.

Hey Mike. Here is a tip. Open the can. Let it sit for a couple of seconds. Pour it into a glass and let it sit for 2 minutes for the froth to rise. It tastes much better that way. Keep up the good work mate.

Got to deliver paint to the dukes of hazard set at Warner brothers . I was going to check out the general Lee's parked between the studios. All of a sudden the studio crew got quiet. The crew moved away from the rolling door. Two german Shepard's on leash followed by Daisy Duke aka Catharine Bach in costume walked in. If you think she looked good on the TV. She was stunning in person. I was so stunned. I completely forgot to look at the three general Lee's parked there.

Yay! Tea and biscuits! Make sure to brew the tea with boiling (or just off the boil) water and let it brew for no less than a minute (I like mine strong enough to take the plating off the spoon or melt the enamel off your teeth, so like at least 5 minutes). True story: My missus and I were in Sacramento one time and she ordered tea; the guy was so stoked that real, live Brits were ordering tea in his restaurant and couldn't wait to bring us his fancy Twinings display box and present it to us like the teabags within were Tiffany diamonds. When the order actually arrived some 20 minutes later, the water in the pot was lukewarm at best; no way to brew tea in that. We said to the server (in our politest English accents), "Sorry, but this water is barely warm, please could we have some that is piping hot?" He looked at us like we'd just asked for him to show us his butt or something. "Uhh, the water *has* been boiled... Like, there's no bacteria in our tap water. This is California, dude." "Umm, ah, er... Not simply boiled, but boi-ling." {incredulous blinking} "Uhh, riiight..." They did bring some hot(ter) water back, but it was far from the perfect cup of tea. Oh, and they further ruined it by providing half-and-half rather than plain milk. Philistines ;) Enjoy your beverage and biccies :D

As much as I like Gassers (55's) my absolute favorite is a 53. A friend and I built a 53 on a budget way back when I lived in Texas. ALL old school block, heads and abt as much duration on the cam and camshaft as as there was lift. A 871 (rebuilt by me) blower and a bunch of other GO FAST parts. Oh and a two speed power glide . It was Chevy engine block Orange so paint was simple lol It turned mid 9's. Oh and the headers were also old school wrapped with Teflon .

I love my Dixxon flannels. They're worth the money. My brother has a REPU with a supercharged rotary in it and the truck looks almost exactly like the new blue replacement truck. His has turbines on it, though. People suck. The Mazdarati will surface once again because it'll be hard to hide a rare truck with a rear mounted V8.
