The official art of Zone of the enders is known for the mecha designs of Yoji Shinkawa ( 新川洋司 ). The character art were done by other members of the team and Hideo Kojima was the supervising Game director.

About ZOE:
Zone of the Enders is a popular video game franchise created by Hideo Kojima and Konami that revolves around combat in space with mecha called Orbital Frames. The games are set in the late 22nd century, where mankind has colonized Mars, and space colonies are set up in orbit around Jupiter. The story usually revolves around two specific Orbital Frames, Jehuty and Anubis, created as the two "keys" of a superweapon called Aumaan. The franchise includes three games, Zone of the Enders, Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars, and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, as well as an HD Collection of the first two games released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Zone of the Enders features stunning game art and popularized the mecha genre in video games.
