the bone marrow was human tho... bet you insufferable foodie guy ate it
@TheSofkujepanenАй бұрын
@@im19ice3lol no it wasn’t? Where did you get that from? There was 0 cannibalism in this movie, and thankfully so since it would have been so predictable and obvious for a movie like this, where the main focus is food. Well, I guess the last s’mores thing did include the people inside the restaurant, but since nobody actually ate that, it wouldn’t be called cannibalism. So that part you’re talking about was just bone marrow from some unspecified animal, not human. I guess you might be confused in a way where you think the bone marrow was from the chef that shot himself, but it wasn’t. The food was already done before he killed himself, so that wouldn’t make sense. Or maybe that’s not why you got confused, but that was my best guess lol. Maybe you heard or read that somewhere?

It’s indeed definitely a respect thing and I believe also like a habit for the people working in the kitchen. Luckily he did also actually deserve the respect because it was a great guy the years I worked there, and he didn’t burn te restaurant with everyone in it, so that’s a bonus🤣

One KZbinr I watched said it was, “Like Parasite,” but hadn’t elaborated further. Then I came across a KZbin video titled, “How to Survive The Menu”. @@myhead3I've watched the movie a couple of years ago, so i am not the most reliable source, but i believe when guests realised something was wrong, they were forced to stay physically and mentally under threats and all that, because the chef guy had no intention of letting anyone go. Anyone, including stuff, which they were aware of.
@ebreshea1337Ай бұрын
@@myhead3 it was on an island. Anya's character sent out a distress call on the radio, but the "coast guard" that responded was working for the chef. There was a scene I believe where they gave the male guests an opportunity to run away and get hunted down but they were all caught and brought back. The chef later comments something like "you could have fought back, you could have resisted" but they just do nothing hoping that it was fake or that they would be let go or find some opportunity to escape or be rescued because they don't want to risk their own necks. By the end they are either so broken down or possibly even slightly drugged from the food that they just accept their deaths.
