I agree W209 is now rare on the street unless your neighbor has one ! You mentioned your valve cover gasket went bad after only 2 years, what did you do incorrectly or whats the reason for re.do so we can learn? 🙏

The breather cover needs more attention, most of the leak was due to the breather cover... cleaning and using correct adhesive properly is the key.

Another great video Max! Did you end up resolving the heavy steering? My 2003 CLK320 still has heavy steering and I'm not sure how to fix despite new PS fluid (CHF11S) and flushing the system. Cheers, Serge

Hi Serge, I think with all the things done so far, it is much better now, but still not as it should be. I guess PS pump might be weak, but I let it be like that for now.

I love to use my CLK320 for highway trips...very comfortable seats , economical fuel consumption 8.0 litres per 100km, very quiet interior and the cruise control works extremely well.

Love your channel. You should work in meda, you have a radio voice, so soft and pleasant to listen to. Agree with you about new EVs vs MB CLK, they can't be compared. I live in northern Norway, also have a 320 2006, but CDI (same colour). The previous owner bought it from mercedes in 2009, with 3000 on the meter. Mercedes had used it in marketing, exhibited at fairs and things like that. I only drive it in the summer, on Sundays, if it's not raining.LOL First owner took care of it like it was his daughter, I follow up.

I carbon wrapped the trim in my 2008, CLK sport and it goes better with the black leather interior. Wood is bit "old man" like ??
