This is soo accurate! I couldn't have watched this in a better time (or maybe it would have been useful to hear this sooner haha). I was just having these bad thoughts yesterday, I felt like I don't measure up, like I'm not enough and I realized that very often it is hard for me to praise the Lord in times of hardship, or give thanks, trust in Him, or even be really aware that He's present in my life, that He not only hears my prayer, but that there is a real relationship between us. It can be very hard to stop complaining and start doing instead as well. But I think that, just as deep down in me, the desire to change our mindset and give up the bad habits is in each of us and I am very thankful for this 'seed' of truth and life, this cure that God gave us through you guys! The way you brought up the subject and the honesty you put into the testimonials you share are very motivating! Thank you! May God bless your ministry and may He always lead you in truth, clarity, openness and honesty!

There is not better calling or job than the one that our Lord has given us. I have applied to do a year of missionary work with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) for a year after I graduate college (I graduate this May). It is a non-profit that spreads the gospel on college campuses to college students that need to hear the truth more than ever. The Lord has given me an very moving testimony and ability to evangelize to college students. I cannot wait to go and do the Lord's work, hey maybe it will be my full time job and nursing will be set aside for a while. One of my biggest envy seasons is upon us. The v day. When my co-workers get flowers or gifts at work, it's not that I'm not truly happy for them, but it's that I'm mad at me for not having anyone. Year after year. Decade after decade. Every new year I think this year is the year. Another thing I compare is youth. I see the dance influencers and I wish I was young and able to have the many many opportunities they get. Around 5 years ago I allowed my joy and hope to be siphoned from me. I am grateful I'm physically able to still run/jog 5k's.

Good stuff you two. I like your discussion how (and it's gross to actually even type) sometimes we are jealous of others success or almost don't want them to do well because of where we are. I have tried to realize this as a thing, and work to be that encouraging person for others..but it can sometimes be hard (how stupid is that?!?!). I think you mentioned it, but I agree that being the person who is happy for others and their successes will ultimately lead to both them and you being happier.

I don’t believe in not meaningful coincidences. Yesterday, I was wondering where my worth stems from, after I reflected about the links between self worth, self confidence because I don’t set myself free to be simply who I am, trying to be perfect and don’t disappoint others’ expectations (this is due to how my parents grew me up, now I am 23). After I came back to Christianity (I am Italian), like 1 month ago, I felt this sense of uncoditional love, now I have Jesus to love and who loves me. In him I feel alive. In just one month I am a new person, in peace, and He really saved me in every sense. God is working in my life in a way that is unexplainable through words. It’s a feeling that I could have never imagined. So, back to the video, now I now my worth. The missing piece to my question. Thank you God 🙏 and thank you Nate and Sutton, I think you can’t imagine how deeply and decisive your contribute can really be for people who need to come home to God. In Italy, there are no people who make what you do, who spread Love and God, while it is spreading new age things, law of attraction...I fell into this trap for a bit, but then Jesus saved me. So I am really thinking to spread my awareness about God when I will have a stable equilibrium and more experience. Thank you again 🙏❤️
@claudialorna49275 жыл бұрын
That's so awesome :)..I'm glad you didn't fall into that new age trap. I almost did so myself. I was raised catholic and I've always believed in Christ but it wasn't until late last year that I really started to deepen my faith and I have realized that it's one thing to believe in Christ but it's only when you actually start seeking him and building a relationship with him that you can truly start to see him work in your life and inside of you. I stopped praying for what I thought I wanted and instead asked him to guide me. And it's true the more you seek him and follow him the more he answers you and starts working inside of you. And it's crazy how you start to find yourself actually wanting the things that he wants. Faith truly does have the power to transform us. Its something so difficult to describe but I know that sense of peace that you talked about. Anyways, I am also from Italy and I get what you mean..I feel like so many people especially our age are turning away from religion. It's so difficult to find someone to share our faith with. Wishing you all the best!

@claudialorna49275 жыл бұрын

Plus the stuff you see sometimes on their can make a guy stumble lol Also don’t know if y’all will see this but I was wondering if you guys could explain how to be a light in this world around other unbelievers. I know the Lord chose the Air Force for me and I love my career but not even a year in and I already see how lost a lot of our men and women of the military are. Many habits they have are ones that I forced myself to quit when I decided to follow Jesus. I’ve also tried taking to them about faith but they always think I’m trying to force them so I kind of stopped. Of course I pray for them but I’m not sure how to get to them. If you guys have any thoughts thank you!! God Bless!

JP gaming Hey man I’m in the same boat. I’m a firefighter and 90% of the people who are in the career field are lost. All I see is them desperately trying to find fulfillment and always coming up short. On top of that, the majority of the people I’ve worked with despise Christians. The best way I found is simply lead by example. You don’t have to speak about your faith in order to testify. People eventually see and wonder why you aren’t like them. I’ve gotten to speak about my faith on multiple occasions bc my coworkers will come to me and ask why I lead my life a certain way. Ultimately, God brings people to him. As James 2 says, show your faith by what you do, and the rest will follow. Good luck!

We need to stop comparing ourselves to one another and just focus on our own lives instead of worrying what someone else's life is like and trying to be something that we are not. We are all made very unique, valuable, and special in our own way! Christ literally created us so that He can be part of our lives and live inside of us and then therefore be expressed from our hearts and to others. WE cannot look at someone else to determine our value! We need to look straight at the Lord Jesus Christ. We need to figure out what we should do with what we have by giving it all to the Lord. We should put our trust in Him, be grateful for what we are given, and just intentionally open our hearts to Him so that God can have a way to move in our hearts toward this area. I am very encouraged by you guys and all your videos! Thanks again for being vulnerable and raw with us! Y'all should do more videos like this-maybe a Q & A about something deep:D

You guys are amazIng, I feel this topic as so right on. Nate I look up to you a lot as a Christian brother! Thank you for being humble in spirit, while being strong too ad speaking truth. I have to say too I feel like Sutton's voice could to be honored more though. She has very valuable things to say and often seems to have a hard time getting to share, usually bc Nate you have a lot to say too. Anyways, appreciate you guys, thanks for another great video! Y'all always help me feel closer to Christ! 🙏🏼
