I've mained warlock for over 7 years now and I still feel like arc warlock Stormtrance and void warlock nova-warp are is still extremely weak compared to song of flame even after these changes, I hope they continue to rework those two to compete with song of flame or even the stasis super for warlock since both song of flame, and stasis I feel comfortable bringing into endgame content while I feel like the other two still don't compete to the other supers offered on each subclass in endgame, I'd still rather chaos reach, or a nova-bomb.

I agree on stormtrance and nova warp. In general I feel like warlock supers need some help, chaos reach needs more potency(and should have been on prismatic imo) and a lot of the other ones just aren't as potent as a nova bomb or song of flame. Stormtrance should at least be good for raneiks but not even there does it do much. And I'm with tizzle in that I find winter's wrath to be just useless

Winters wrath is awful atm and even with ballidorse (ignoring the glitch) it did awful damage so I'm hoping they buff it a ton when they finally make it usable again since it's been disabled for months, it does a bad damage increase and doesn't give much super energy for its way of doing so, also it's changes to your freeze rift is useless or at most barely good

The difference is being able to hold weapons. Imagine all roaming supers, but you can hold your weapons. That’s song of flame.

Song of flame is literally the best super in the entire game just as Well was before the nerfs. You cant compare it to any other super. Nova warp and ST do need a little bit more juice. Same time song of flame needs a nerf

i have actually put on stormtrance on my preexisting Crown of tempest prismatic build, and now i only use weapons for one of three things: building dark transcendence, killing an enemy that is to far away to quickly get to, or dealing with a boss/miniboss

Roaming supers being able to deal with champions in 1 stun is a much needed buff. Champions aren't a bad thing IMO, but they are a defining part of endgame which is what made the burst damage of 1 off supers better.

So I tested Roaming Supers in -20 power level content (equal to best case scenario GM) and this is the results: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqe5ep-vj9eDjJYsi=VnF-K0E3k6nYYp_i Those arc and void supers had a 25% surge (dmg buff) and lots of supers failed to kill the champ within one stun. I agree that every roaming super needs to be able to do so, so some should get buffed

Give Nova Warp final blow a Graviton Lance-like ad-clearing capabilities. Allow Stormtrance to increase dmg overtime. Every final blow ups that dmg. And make Stormdancer's Brace exotic armor dmg increase stack on top. Chaos Reach needs a faster tick dmg. For Winter's Wrath, every time an enemy gets repeatedly frozen and then shattered by the same super, shatter dmg increase for that target. I think the rest of Warlock's supers are good in their own ways. Maybe give some a Pyrogale treatment.

I've ran Prismatic Hunter with Golden Gun, Foetracer Exotic Helmet, and Ager's Scepter. The amount of super energy you can get back with the build is insane and couple that with Transcendence and the damage is nuts at times. (At least for me personally) It's a shame that the player base for the game dropped so low, but I'll enjoy what I can until Heresy is done and over with.

"Slept on" implies it was always good and is only just now getting discovered. That wasn't the case -- it just wasn't good and it didn't help that the base Arc Hunter kit lacks a lot of things (and Prismatic Hunter totally aped its playstyle while doing it better).

Here is what all the roaming supers on warlock need (imo): Stormtrance: uncap the ramping damage on it or bake in Stormdancers Brace's damage boost into the base super; also jolt targets after 2 seconds of continuous damage Nova warp: give it an exotic to buff it up in some meaning full way (Astrocycte Verse does not do enough for the super), something like kills refund energy to the super (similar to Geomags or Doom Fang) Winters wrath: change it from a burst of 2 sets of 2 projectiles to a stream of single projectiles, and allow us stop shooting after a single projectile; uncap number of ice flare bolts during the super; Winter's Guile causes near-instant shatters from the super projectiles Daybreak: I honestly do not have enough experience with this one to make any recommendations. Chaos Reach: when stopping it early, let it retain all the remaining super energy instead of just a fraction of it

good suggestions. Back in the day, one of the daybreak nodes had it to where as you got kills with daybreak, it refunded super energy during the super. It was a ton of fun. Like a mini game to see how long you could make the super last. Much like doomfang sentinel. They could bring that back. If you used it on a single target, it would expire in the same amount of time. But if used for add clear, you could extend it a bunch

I have been trying to get used to using my super not just at the end to kill the last boss. I still don't pop transcendence often enough. It is fun to be able to use the roaming supers more and for good damage. Thanks for reinforcing that play style that I've been working on using!

I really love silk strike now particularly on prismatic because you can run winters shroud. One dodge will stun an overload and 2 will stun an unstop. Easily my favorite super now

I loved this change. My strand titan has 100 Intellect, I spec'd into it to spam the super a while back and now I get it back sooooo fast. I do gm w a buddy who runs Orpheus and it's ridiculous. This is one of the most enjoyable changes in a while.

I know this build has been around a while but I never tried it until this change: Dawn Chorus with Dawnblade. It's now my favourite way to play warlock, using Dragon's Breath as well gets easy 3-4 phase Vesper's Host final boss solo. I'm spamming fire snaps, helion, dawnblade... Feels like I've become a god of fire. Love it, been running back old dungeons solo just as an excuse to use it more 😂

My favourite roaming super on Titan is.. Trancendence. It honestly feels like better than all of the other ones because you gain access to 3 different champ stuns (suspend, jolt and radiant), still being able to access your weapon and have innate self duration extension. I feel like it does what roaming super does but better - roaming. A lot of buff points to roaming super makes them good a dealing with a single target, which IMO is not the point of roaming supers.

Winters wrath: instead of 2 ice balls make it shoot multiple in ever direction but faster and revert the aggressive tracking to its glory and make the shatter expand instead of decreasing and shatters all enemies stasis crystals and bleak turrets as well

I love the changes. As a warlock main Chaos Reach is pretty much stapled to my super button, but with Stormtrance being able to come back so fast I just might give it a try. My only issue with Arc Warlock is that it’s only good in low level content. It’s tons of fun don’t get me wrong, but it becomes more apparent how weak it is when you turn the difficulty dial up. I’ve been playing Warlord’s Ruin quite a bit with different subclasses. Solar is the best by far with Prismatic as a close second. Void, Stasis and Strand are good too with the constant Devour, Weavewalk and Bleak Watcher with Glacial Harvest set up. However, Arc struggles quit a bit. It’s nye impossible to complete the first encounter of that dungeon… just the first! The whole problem is that Arc doesn’t have any way to heal the player. It’s not as bad for Hunters and Titans because Hunters have a melee that heals them and Titans have an aspect that also heals them. Stormcallers don’t have any healing built into them other than their base healing rift. Unless you had an exotic with you and some very strong mods, completing hard content with Stormcaller is borderline unfeasible; if both your exotic and mods aren’t strictly focused on improving your survivability, you’ll be in for a rough time trying to do anything challenging. Thankfully the word “Gavlanize” has been floating around as a new verb for Arc classes to improve their survival which would be a great and necessary change.

It's hard to break that habit of holding on to Transcendence and your Super for those "I need this or I won't clear the encounter" moments. With how much AoE clear and survivability you can build into your base kit, a lot of the time, the added damage and defense of a roaming super just isn't needed and they still fall behind when it comes to boss DPS. That said, the changes do make the case that maybe you can just build into big Super generation and simply use that as your DR/ad-clear kit and run weapons that don't do much except build Super and deal boss DPS. Being able to delete Champions even in harder content is a big plus to that build style. Hard for me to justify doing that, though.

I've put on Doomfangs for the first time in years and have had a blast, though shame the rest of the void titan kit is a bit lackluster compared to the insanity that is prismatic!

The old combo of Doom Fang Pauldrons + Sentinel Shield is now much better than it used to be and I'm having fun with it, but the spotty hit registration on the melee attacks is still aggravating. It's not quite as bad as that of Spectral Blades (my crayon-eating Titan sympathies to you poor Hunter mains with no good Void roaming super :D), but it's frustrating enough to add a level of clunkiness to the experience that really doesn't need to be there. Even so, the build I have for it is nothing to sniff at. Bastion + Controlled Demolition, Suppressor grenade and Shield Throw melee (hit registration on that thing also needs more work), usual fragments for Devour; weapons are the Rake Angle (Stasis glaive) with Overflow/Chill Clip, Onslaught-edition Edge Transit with Envious Assassin/Bait & Switch for main DPS, and the Manticore exotic SMG - more overshield on demand and amped damage since its exotic trait stacks with the Void damage boost from Doom Fangs. Armor modding for melee ability regen, with one or two Heavy Handed mods for extra Super regen. Lack of good anti-Barrier Champ capabilities is the biggest drawback, and it can only be partially mitigated with the fragment that grants Volatile Rounds to Void weapons on grenade kills. Still, overall it's pretty fun, and a lot more viable than it used to be.

Doesn’t Facet of Grace also make super give more Transcendence energy? That’s a big plus for getting to Transcendence again right after popping it or popping super during transcendence in case things got a little dicey and you have a good amount of transcendence after the super.

I’ve noticed a significant drop in my damage using twilight arsenal on my titan after the changes to supers and it makes no sense using TA especially if a warlock is using nova bomb

Any thoughts on possible improvements to Spectral Blades? Post super energy and damage buffs the damage is definitely better, but hitting what you want is super difficult. Imo it would be nice to see it either lean into ad-clear with some kind of volatile addition to the light attack, or maybe a high damage combo like Arcstaff that could suppress to give it champ viability for champs and bosses.

Yep, Roamers are now the kings of GMs. Slap on an exotic primary or Orb build or any super regen setup and keep popping your roaming super and just cook GMs. Good job Bungie, roaming supers were always supposed to feel this way, should've always been ;powerful and fun. Best of all, it's meta-specific for something like GMs, in Dungeons and Raids 1-offs are still the go-to. Everything in its niche.

intellect just changes base super cooldown. Dealing damage and slaying out is what gets you the bulk of your super and is far more important. Intellect is basically useless. Just run tier 3 INT

I gotta vent for a bit. I actually hate Prismatic and very much dislike subclasses 3.0. I like to have class identity and a playstyle that needs to adapt to the disadvantages of your kit. It's why I loved the old subclass trees, as you had to adapt to what you play. My favourite flavor is void, since it judt has everything I want. But it still doesn't feel all that right since I just always pick the same fragments, as the others are just kinda useless. And another thing: i think Stasis and Strand aren't actually under the same issues, since they were balanced around the identity. But the light classes 3.0 and especially prismatic never was balanced around each other and the identities of the classes and I absolutely hate it. I have no issue with others running it btw, I just really dislike running prismatic, as it feels terrible to me while having the best performance

Dude is just farming views at this point. I stopped watching this channel when he put out 30 videos of trash builds being used in a gm with brawn active, pretending like they're viable.

Can we plz stop acting like buildcrafting is actually a thing in destiny 😂. What are we crafting? Everyone runs the same weapon and armor mods for every build and just swap out prismatic fragments and aspects and exotics and call it buildcrafting. Okayyy lol. Now with armor 3.0 buildcrafting MIGHT actully be a thing. For now, buildcrafting is just a buzzword for content creators to try and generate views.
